Ryan Posted September 9, 2008 Report Share Posted September 9, 2008 You may not have noticed that we recently gave the Episodes section a complete overhaul and Chris has already listed what's changed and the benefits these new features will bring elsewhere. We hope you think it's an improvement, as we certainly do. However, you may notice that a large number of the summaries look like this. We're missing approximately 50% of the circa 4700 episodes that have aired. And unfortunately, it doesn't take a great mathematician to work out that 50% of episodes therefore don't have an episode summary, which is where you become important to us. BttB wants to be able to be a good source for Home & Away, from the beginning to the current episodes, and a big part of this is episode summaries. With approximately an average of 230 episodes every year, this is a lot of work, but even if you can only help us with one episode, that will bring us one episode closer to having a complete collection of summaries. You will not only be helping us, you will be helping the whole community. You will be credited on every summary you complete. I don't have any episodes though, other than what i can find on youtube. Sky asked me a couple of months ago because I mentioned that HAAN has long summaries from most episodes after the '04 Olympic Cliffhanger. I then asked Marieh and she said we could use the summaries, so I'm willing to translate if we have any of the ones you're missing. I'll look into it and post the numbers I could do. It's weird though, cause I know I have written some summaries for BttB from right after the '04 Olympic cliffhanger, but they're not on the main site...
