Martha knocked lightly on the door. “Can I come in” Johnny looked over to Sally who nodded her head weakly. “Yes” he called out. Martha gave a cautious smile as she entered the room and sat next Sally. “How’s Rocco” she asked Martha. Martha opened her mouth and then shut it again looking confused and worried. Johnny held Sally hand. “I don’t think you should worry about him right now” Sally sat up in bed, pushing Johnny and Martha’s attempts to help her. “Ric got upset and accuse Rocco of working with Johnny to break up our family” Martha said sadly. “Why?” “Cause he’s a jerk” “Like you can talk” “I do have a mouth” “Stop it, both of you. Your acting like children” “He started it” “She..” “Stop!” Sally sighed as she reached over for a cup of water which Johnny handed over. She drank it gratefully. Rocco tried to sneak into the diner, however out of nowhere Colleen spied him and raced over to him. “Isn’t it terrible what’s happening between poor young Sally and your horrible brother” “Colleen, leave the poor boy alone” Irene scowled, shooing the old woman into the staff area. “What would you like love?” “Nothing, I’m not hungry” “You sure, how about a nice bacon roll, on the house” “I'm sure” Rocco said sadly, heading back out the diner, Cassie looked up and chased after him. Irene shook her head, sometimes she wanted to kill Colleen. “Rocco, wait” Cassie ran after him down the path. “Rocco, wait up. Please” Rocco stopped and leaned against the railing looking over the beach. “Why would Ric think that, why can’t people believe he’s changed” “I believe, Roc” Rocco looked out to ocean as Cassie wrapped her arm’s around him. “I can’t believe Rocco, of all people thinks that Johnny’s changed” Ric sighed “He should for one should know that someone like Johnny will never change”. Brad nodded. “What?” Ric asked. “Well what if you right about Rocco and Johnny working together” “What no way, why would Rocco do that” “Maybe Johnny’s still got control over him, maybe they’re after her money” “They did seem a little jumpy when we came in” “Yip” “We’ve got to stop them” Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

It was wrong on so many levels, he couldn't even begin to understand it. What did she see in him anyway? Not his personality, that's a fact. He turns his head when Brad sits down next to him. "Hey." "Hey Ric." "Any ideas yet?" "Not really... we need to get Johnny to show his true colours - in front of Sally." "But how?" "No idea. But it shouldn't be too hard. A leopard doesn't change its spots..." "I'm sorry for me and Martha fighting in front of you. It was childish." Sally nods and smiles. "It's okay. I understand." "Yeah, but you've been through enough... and when they attacked Roc too... he has nothing to do with this, now they're saying that we planned this... It's just..." Sally takes Johnny's hand, smiling weakly. "I know you didn't. That's all that matters." "Yeah, you're right. Summer Bay just has to accept it." Sally bites her lip and frowns. "Sal? What's wrong?" "Maybe... maybe it's time to leave the Bay." Johnny shakes his head. "No. You've got your family and friends here. Your whole life is here. I won't be the one to take that away from you, Sal." "You mean more to me than the life I had here, Johnny. And if my friends can't accept you..." "Just... give them time. They'll get used to the idea. They'll just have to." He kisses her tenderly and she squeezes his hand. "I love you, Johnny Cooper." "I love you too." "Thank you." Rocco looks at Cassie with a small smile and she frowns. "What for?" "If it wasn't for that little speech you gave on Johnny and Sally making each other happy and everything... I'd still be mad at them." She sighs. "Too bad Brad and Ric didn't listen." "I know. But you know what, they'll see that Johnny has changed. I know they will!" Cassie nods slowly. "So you really believe he changed?" "I do. It's something in his eyes.
