Roccoluver Posted May 8, 2007 Report Share Posted May 8, 2007 here an update you lucky people Rocco knocked lightly on the door before entering keeping his eyes on the ground. “Roc” “Johnny” Rocco bit his lip and dared to look up at his older brother who was sitting next to Sally. “Any news?” “Nope” Rocco nodded and turned back to leave. “You should stay” Rocco smothered a smile as he sat on the opposite side of Sally. Ric paced the living room of the Summer Bay house. “Maybe Cassie was right” “You can’t be serious Brad, he’s just using her to get to Rocco” “What if he’s not” “Listen to yourself, he’s Johnny”. Brad nodded in agreement. “Your right”. “Of course I am”. Cassie slurped down some of her orange juice as Colleen galloped over to spread the gossip of the bay. “Oh Cassie!” she exclaimed as someone had been murdered. “Isn’t it just a disaster what’s happened” “Is the coffee machine broke again Colleen” Colleen stared at for a second then flung her arms around. “No, no that.. that thing with Johnny and Sally” “You mean love?” “I don’t know what she see in him, no good gang member, look where it got her” Cassie rolled her eyes. “Colleen, go out get a boyfriend and butt out of other peoples lives okay.” “Why I never..” “Actually you do, a lot.” Colleen flapped about like a wounded whale for a moment before scurrying off back to the kitchen. She placed a tip on the counter next to her payment and head out for a walk along the beach. Ric stopped in shock as he entered the hospital room. “What are you doing Rocco!?” Rocco looked up from his conversation with Johnny. “Ric it’s not what it looks like” “I can’t believe you did this to us” Rocco stood up to face Ric. “Johnny’s changed” “Johnny is here” Ric and Rocco both briefly turned to look at Johnny. He was infact there. “I can’t believe you got suck into his trap again, how stupid are you” “Hey, don’t talk to my little brother like that” “Oh and what right do you have to say anything, this all your fault” “Ric, leave Johnny alone” Ric turned to face Rocco. “Of course, your working together, you planned this didn’t you!” Rocco looked at Ric with a pained expression and he knew that he had got it so wrong. “Rocco..” Rocco took off out of the room, Johnny glare at Ric and clapped. “Well done” Martha opened her mouth but shut it and shook her head in disgrace before chasing after Rocco. Johnny enters the hospital room, carrying a large bouquet of flowers. He sits down next to Sally and softly kisses her forehead. "Hey, darling. How was your day? Boring, I guess. You're still lying here, sleeping. I didn't do much either. Watched a DVD last night... went for a surf this morning... I miss you, Sally. I miss the way you talk, the way you laugh... the way you look at me. The way I hold you. Please, please just... wake up." He sighs and takes her hand, holding onto it for dear life. "I want to kill Sam for this. The only reason he's still alive... is because you taught me to forgive. Like you forgave me, remember? I love you, Sal." "Sally..." Sally looks up through the fog. "Flynn?" She runs closer into his arms. He holds her tightly and softly kisses her forehead. She looks at him for a few seconds and then frowns. "Wait... if I'm here..." "No, you're not. Not yet anyway." "But I am dying?" He takes her hand and leads her to a cliff. "Look down, Sal." To her surprize, she sees herself in a hospital bed, Johnny sitting next to her, holding her hand. She smiles as he wipes a strand of hair out of her face and softly touches her hand when he kisses it. She looks at Flynn again. "So you watch over me?" "I try..." "Not always?" "No! There are some things I prefer not to see." He laughs when she blushes and takes her hand. "Sally, there's a reason why you're here." "Why?" "Look at yourself. Lying there. You gave up on yourself. You're not fighting." "I... I thought no one cared. That it would be easier not to fight." "Can't you see how wrong you are? Look..." Sally looks as Cassie walks in, carrying Pippa. Followed by Rocco, carrying some flowers. Brad and Martha, eyeing Johnny warily. Tony, Jack and Lucas. Ric and Matilda, holding hands. Irene, looking tearful. Alf, looking irritated with Colleen who is blowing her nose loudly. Rachel, looking concerned and confused. Leah, crying and being held by Dan - also looking tearful. Peter and Amanda, holding onto each other. She blinks her eyes, watching as more and more enter the room. Then she looks at Flynn again, speechless. "Sal... you can stay. Or you can go back." She looks down again, focusing on Johnny who now has Pippa on his lap. "They need me." "I understand." He softly kisses her and squeezes her hand. "Remember - I'll wait here for you." She looks down again - a lot of time had passed. It is dark on earth and once again, Johnny is the only person next to her. Sally takes one last look at Flynn before closing her eyes in heaven - and opening them on earth. She turns her head to look at Johnny and smiles weakly. "Hey you. Don't you ever sleep?"
