Im sorry guys, but I have an update for you...

Ric glances over at Matilda, she’s standing there in shock, a hand over her mouth as the car starts to burn.

“You killed them!”

He glances over at the car, a sick smell of burning rubber fills the air.

“They could still be alive”

He runs off to the car and grabs the hot door handle, yanking the door open.

“Sal, Johnny”

A hand reaches out to him.

“Help Sally, she’s stuck” Johnny coughed.

“Matilda, Help!” he called out, running over to the other side of the car, it was only a matter of seconds before it would explode.

He tried to open the door, but it was stuck. Dropping to the ground he smashed open a window and crawled into the smoky car.

Unblucked Sally’s seatbelt, he carefully pulled the a piece of metal off her legs, Johnny crawled next to him and with his help Ric pulled Sally out of the car.

“We’ve got to get away now!” Ric shouted as they dragged her away from the car, just then the car exploded.

Its kinda short, blame it on the economy

I forgot I had this... Lol! Here it is, thanks for the feedback!

Ric, Matilda and Johnny all watch as the car burns up. Johnny looks at Sally, wiping some blood out of his face.

"She's unconscious."

Johnny bites his lip upon seeing the deep cut in Sally's leg.

"This cut looks bad… we've got to get her to the hospital…"

Ric nods, picking Sally up in his arms, while Matilda puts her arm around Johnny, helping him get to the car.

She looks at him worriedly when he sits back against the seat, closing his eyes.

"Johnny… are you okay? There's a nasty cut on your forehead…"

He shakes his head, his eyes closed.

"I'm fine."

He rubs over his eyes, helping Ric to settle Sally on the backseat.

He looks at Ric for a second.

"Thank you."

Matilda glares at Ric for a second before looking back at Johnny.

"Don't thank us. You would have done the same for us."

"No. I wouldn't have."

Brad, Martha, Rocco and Cassie rush forward when they see Ric, Matilda and Johnny coming in, followed by a couple of guys carrying Sally on a stretcher.

Cassie frowns.

"She just got out of hospital today and she's already back in here. Is she all right?"

Johnny shrugs.

"I don't know. They couldn't tell us anything."

Nurse Julie rushes to them, taking Johnny by the arm.

"We need to take a look at that cut. Follow me, please."

Ric sits down on one of the hospital chairs, covering his face in his hands. Matilda sits down next to him, putting her hand on his leg.

"Ric…"

"I need to be alone right now."

He leaves, attracting looks from Cassie, Rocco, Martha and Brad.

"What was that about?"

Matilda shakes her head.

"Just the shock of seeing Sal like that… I have to go, excuse me."

Rachel looks at her friend with sympathy.

"I wish there was something more we could do."

Kevin shakes his head sadly.

"So do I. But… How do you think she'll handle it?"

"I have no idea… she's strong… but something like this… it's difficult to accept. Especially when the chances of ever recovering are so slim."

"Do you want to tell her or should I?"

Rachel sighs, looking at Sally.

"I'll tell her. It'll be easier if she hears it from a friend."

Matilda finds Ric on the beach, staring at the ocean.

"Hey."

"I shouldn't have done that, Mattie. I hate myself…"

"Ric, you didn't know that Sal was going to be in the car. And yeah, it was wrong, but… you did save them."

"But what if we weren't there? They could have died, Mattie. And it would have been my fault."

"Yeah, but they didn't."

She sits down next to him, putting her arm around his shoulder.

"Everything is going to turn out okay. You'll see."

I hope Johnny doesn't get the blame for the accident. Hopefully Ric will be punished or at least Sally and her family find out it was Ric.

Hey guys, sorry its taken so long but here your update

Johnny walks into the hospital room, he frowns at Sally's sleeping body, he still tried to remember the events leading to the crash. What had he done wrong?.

It didn't matter now, the woman he loved so dearly was lying in a hospital and it was all his fault.

"Hey" came a remarkably cheery voice.

"Shouldn't you be resting"

"I have been but its boring, now you're here we can have some fun"

"Sal are you okay?"

"Fine, really I am. Can't wait to get out of here"

"But the doctors said.."

"Doctors get it wrong all the time" she said

"No we don't" Flynn voice whispered in her ear

"I don't think so"

"Shut up both of you"

Johnny glanced nervously at Sally for a minute.

"Us?"

"Just go"

"But …"

"Go!"

Johnny frowned, bending down he went to kiss her on the cheek but she pulled away. Johnny looked at the floor and head out the door. As he left Sally let her head fall to her lap and cried.
