He sits back down on his bed and buries his face in his hands.

LUCAS:

MATILDA:

Lucas jumps up.

LUCAS:

Hey Mattie.

MATILDA:

What are you doing?

LUCAS:

Trying to find a way to tell Cassie I'm into her.

MATILDA:

LUCAS:

She runs out. Cassie looks at Lucas with a frown and he smiles sheepishly.

Hey... there's something I want to talk to you about...

ON THE BEACH

Kayla and Johnny are lying on the beach, kissing passionately. Johnny has his hands in under her top and he's exploring her back with his hands. They pull away from each other and Johnny smiles at her.

JOHNNY:

Aren't we moving a little too fast for you?

KAYLA:

No, I like it this way.

They kiss again. Neither of them sees the figure of a teenage guy approaching them until it's too late.

ROCCO:

Johnny? Kayla?

He looks at them in awe and starts angrily walking away. Kayla and Johnny both jump up and follow him.

KAYLA:

Rocco! Rocco wait, please!

JOHNNY:

Come on Roc!

ROCCO:

Turns around and grabs Johnny's shirt.

You just couldn't let me be, could you?

KAYLA:

Rocco, let him go!

She tries to pull Rocco away from Johnny.

ROCCO:

He's using you Kayla! That's what he does, he uses people!

KAYLA:

He's changed!

ROCCO:

Yeah right!

JOHNNY:

Come on, Roc!

ROCCO:

I'm going to tell Mr Armstrong all about this. And I promise you, he will put a stop to it.

He runs away and Johnny pulls Kayla into an embrace.

KAYLA:

Johnny...

JOHNNY:

Don't worry. We'll be okay, love. We'll be okay.

Loved the Mattie/Lucas scene they so cute, Lucas and Cassie will make such a great couple.

She walks in and looks at Brad, Sally and Rocco.

KAYLA:

BRAD:

You are not to see him again, Kayla. Is that clear?

KAYLA:

BRAD:

KAYLA:

I said no. I want to see Johnny again and I will.

BRAD:

Kayla, I forbid you yo have anything to do with him.

Sally and Rocco look at Brad in shock when he shouts and Kayla storms up the stairs angrily.

Kayla falls down on her bed, crying.

She picks up her phone and dials a number.

Johnny... it's me. I just had a fight with my dad... he yelled at me and... he told me to stay away from you...

JOHNNY:

KAYLA:

Of course it isn't! Damn it, Johnny, I'm in love with you!

JOHNNY:

I just don't want to come between you and your father.

KAYLA:

Cassie and Lucas are sitting on the couch, kissing. Cassie pulls away and smiles.

I panicked! I had no idea how to tell you and Mattie tried to help me... I guess we sounded pretty stupid.

CASSIE:

Pretty stupid? Are you kidding? You sounded horrible! It's the funniest thing I've ever heard!

LUCAS;

CASSIE:

But it's also the sweetest thing that anyone has ever done for me.

They kiss again.

LUCAS:

Hey, so what's up with Jane?

ON THE BEACH

ROCCO:

I don't know how to escape from him, Jane. He keeps following me and I'm tired of running.

JANE;

I know, Roc. Maybe we should just stop running. Both of us.

ROCCO:

What are you running from? Your evil big brother too?

JANE:

He puts his arms around her and they look at the ocean.

FLETCHER HOUSE

There is a knock on the door. Brad opens it. Johnny is standing there.

BRAD:

Oh you have some cheek.

JOHNNY:

Look, Brad...

BRAD:

Go away.

JOHNNY:

Can I just talk to you?

BRAD:

No. You stay away from me and my daughter. Is that clear?

KAYLA:

No, dad.

BRAD:

Kayla, go upstairs.

Kayla walks past Brad, clutching her bag and stands next to Johnny.

KAYLA:

I'm moving out.

BRAD;

No way!

KAYLA:

Johnny never wanted me to choose! You did! And that just shows me who really loves me.

BRAD:

He's using you! You know nothing about him, Kayla! He was a gang leader. He was in jail...

KAYLA:

He told me everything! He's changed, dad! But you won't see it, you never will! And I'm leaving. I don't want anything to do with you anymore.

She takes Johnny's hand and they walk to his car. Brad rushes to the phone and picks it up. He dials the police station.

BRAD:

This is Brad Armstrong. I want to report a kidnapping.

Wow 2 update loved it! Lucas and Mattie were so funny with the voices. I am so glad lucas and cassie are together they make a cute couple. I still reckon that Johnny hasnt changed and it is all a front! But Brad is going about it the wrong way because he is just pushing his daughter further away.

KAYLA:

Thanks for letting me stay here, Johnny. I swear another day in that house and I would have killed my father.

JOHNNY:

She looks at him in surprize and he smiles sheepishly.

JOHNNY:

You were the only one who was willing to give me a second chance. You trusted me without forcing me to prove myself.

He pulls her closer and softly kisses her.

JOHNNY:

If there's any way I could thank you for everything...

Kayla smiles naughtily and slowly pulls his shirt over his head.

KAYLA:

I'm sure I could think of something...

They kiss passionately, falling down on the couch.

A knock on the door interrupts them and they both look up irritably.

KAYLA:

This had better not be my father.

JOHNNY:

Should I bring my knife?

She plants a kiss on his chest and they both stand up and walk to the door. Johnny opens the door to find Jack Holden and Lara Fitzgerald standing there.

JOHNNY:

Can I help you?

LARA:

Yes. You are wanted for questioning.

JOHNNY:

What's this about?

JACK:

It's regarding the kidnapping of Kayla Armstrong.

POLICE STATION

Brad, Kayla, Johnny, Jack and Peter are sitting in the questioning room.

KAYLA:

This is crazy. Johnny did not kidnap me.

PETER;

But he didn't have your father's permission to take you with him.

KAYLA:

I went with him out of my own free will.

BRAD;

This is ridiculous. He's brainwashed her and he's using her to get back at me.

KAYLA:

Would you just shut up?

BRAD:

Don't speak to me like that.

KAYLA:

I will speak to you in any way I choose to. I don't want you as my father, I don't want you in my life. I wan't to be with Johnny and there is no way you can stop me.

BRAD:

Try me.

JOHNNY:

Can I say something?

BRAD AND KAYLA:

No!

KAYLA:

Don't tell him what to do!

BRAD:

Just come home and then we'll sort this out, Kayla.

KAYLA:

No! Just get your own life and get out of mine!

PETER:

Look, Brad, I'm sorry. But if there was no kidnapping there is no case.

BRAD:

So you are going to let my daugther go with some lowlife gang leader

PETER:

I'm afraid we have no choice. It's Kayla's own free will and we need to respect that.

KAYLA:

Yeah and maybe you should do the same.

She stands up and leaves. Peter and Jack both leave. Brad stands up and glares at Johnny.

BRAD;

Just so you know - I will do everything in my power to open my daughters eyes and get you back in jail where you belong.

JOHNNY:

Have fun trying. But be careful - you don't want to get hurt. And if you don't stay the hell away from me, you will.

BRAD:

Is that a threat?

JOHNNY:

Not at all. It's a promise.

HOLDEN/HUNTER HOUSE

Jack and Martha are sitting on the couch. Jack is frowning.

MARTHA:

Hey, lighten up. Everything will be fine.

JACK:

I just don't get why she wants to be with him. He's a piece of scum.

MARTHA:

She'll open her eyes, don't worry. Sometimes people do stupid things. But sooner or later we all realize that we made mistakes and we set them right.

JACK:

Oh, are you talking about Kayla or about us?

MARTHA:

Both.

They kiss.

MARTHA:

I love you, Jack.

JACK:

I love you too.

MARTHA:

Oh and there is something you should know...

JACK:

MARTHA:

I saw Rachel today... Jack, I'm pregnant.

MARTHA:

He pulls her into his arms and they hug tightly.

Lucas and Cassie are sitting next to each other.

LUCAS:

I can't believe it took me so long to realize how I felt about you, Cas.

CASSIE:

Maybe the time was never right.

LUCAS:

Yeah... maybe. But I'm sure glad it's right now.

CASSIE:

So am I. You are the best thing that's ever happened to me, Lucas Holden.

LUCAS;

Yeah, I know.

CASSIE:

Hey! Don't be so arrogant!

She playfully hits him and they laugh.

FLETCHER HOUSE

BRAD;

I don't know what to do Sal. You should have seen the way she looked at me. I lost my daughter and there is no way of getting her back. Ever.

Sally walks to Brad and puts her arms around him. They stand in an embrace.
