I'm going to write to Georgie, just gonna give it a few weeks/a month or so, until I know more about her acting and thus what to say in my letter. ut it's looking promising so far. Not gonna write to Zac as I doubt he's gonna get cast card, but will write to him if he sticks around longer than 5 or 6 months. SQ - Fan card list? Rebecca's been signing quite recently though, I have her autograph and Jamie-Lee does too. Surely the person who is best at replying is Esther Anderson. I happen to agree ith you about Josh Quong Tart, I've never seen a reply from him.

SQ - I'm so jealous of that Amy Mathews card, it's really nice! I wrote to Luke Jacobz in December, still nothing back. I have a feeling that he won't reply, have you seen any successes from him? P.s. thanks for the scans I love seeing other people's fan cards.

Gomez - your letters were sent very recently, so I think you will get a reply, but just not yet. Fan mail is a funny thing, and it often takes over 6 months to receive anything, if you get anything at all. I wrote to the Scotts and Walkers in July.

Yes it's Dexter. She said that they'd be great paired together and she also loves working with David Jones-Roberts. Her words were - "He's a lovely boy." Congrats on your mail Edward. Thanks, SQ! And congrats, Marie, do you have any scans of your newly-received cards? How long did they take to arrive? Gomez - I wouldn't be too dishardtened, it's just luck of the draw - sometimes the cast take ages to reply, I waited almost a year to get Emily Symons card. Just be patient and when you least expect it, they'll come through the post. In a way I think that makes it more special because you're always soooooo surprised when you do receive something, well I have been...! I asked my dad to open the mail and it turns out the cards were from Rhiannon and Robert, both with letters. I now have all 5 new cast members fan cards with letters! So happy!!!

P.S. Yes I do want to know, is it Dexter by any chance? 'd love to know who she thinks April is better suited to - I wonder if that means she doesn't enjoy working with David?

Congratlations SQ! I'd actually be happier with an older one of Amy's, because at least tat is more rare than the more recent version which you could probably get on Ebay in future if you wanted. I received two pieces of fan mail yesterday, too - except same problem, I'm back in Germany and they arrived at my UK address - I don't know whether to ask my dad to open them or not. I'm speculating atm as to who these replies could be from. I'm currently waiting for: Lynne (Irene) Ada (Leah) Jon (Tony) Tessa (Nicole) David (Xavier) Sonia (Gina) Shane (Palmer) Jay (Elijah) Rhiannon (April) Robert (Sid) And also Erin (Declan) from Neighbours. My guess is that the replies will be from Robert and April but I'm happy to be surprised! Cannot wait to find out who the repplies are from!!

Lovely collection of autographs, Sandra, congratulations!! Rosalie - can you not buy "air mail" stamps from the internet which could be put on the return envelope? I definitely wouldn't send an envelope without a stamp. Although I would say Jess is more likely to reply given you come from Norway.

Thanks Beanieking! I don't know why I've been lucky with replies. Having said that, I have seen other people who have received more than me, i.e. Screaming Queen has Elijah and Xavier, both whom I've written to but not heard back from. Plus, I've written to most of the cast. I think it's mostly just luck of the draw, but as I've previously said, a good hint is to use coloured/large envelopes to catch the actor's attention. Does anyone else have scans of their recently-received autographs?

Do you have Lynne McGranger's current fan card without PP on it?

Do some actors not have fan cards without pre-printed signatures? For example, I've never seen a Lynne McGranger one or Ada one without their autograph pre-printed on it. But I really wanted to get copies of ones without their signatures on. Do you reckon my best bet is to write to H&A asking for both cards without the signatures on or do you think it's unlikely that any exist without signatures?

I would sugges either waiting to see if any pop up on Ebay, or write to the helpdesk asking if they have any copies of it, then if you do receive one back, then addressing a letter to Jess Tovey at the H&A address, and waiting to see if you hear anything back. What I would suggest is using an envelope or package that looks slightly different, i.e. large or coloured, with a coloured pen or something, as that generally is more likely to get their attention. In personally wouldn't like having to print my own copy from the internet, as it wouln't be very good quality. On an unrelated point, I was wondering i anyone reading this thread may have a spare Lynne McGranger fan card unsigned, which I could send to her via the Panto address in December? I'd be willing to pay a considerable amount for one.

Hi there, I was just wondering if anyone knew if there is a list of H&A stars in panto anywhere this year? My Panto 2010 thread hasn't taken off and I'm really keen to find out who is here. I know that Lynne and Ray both are, but is there anyone else?

If you send to the Home and Away studios address for Jess, I'm sure you'd get a reply as I've heard of people before who have sent to actors that left the show ages ago. BUT...I would buy a copy of her fan card or something from Ebay and also include a SAE (stamped and addressed envelope) for you to get a reply. Good luck!

Thanks El! Can I ask for some advice? Basically I don't know whether to frame my Lisa Gormley fan card with the letter, or frame the Lisa fan card with all my other personal replies, thus not framing the letter? The problem is, I've got my Luke Mitchell fan card and letter framed, my Hany Lee from Neighbours fan card and letter framed, plus 2 sets of Neighbours fan cards framed, and I didn't know whether it was becoming a bit excessive to keep framing my fan cards which arrive wit letters back, or do you think it's a shame not to frame the letters? I've made a mock frame of my 8 personal replies, but some of them have messages on the back so if I frame them altogether I may lose some messages. Hmmm. What do you reckon? Here's my mock frame:
