Yes, I believe Dan F confirmed that she's a permanent cast member, so I would presume she has a fan card now. It's good to know people are writng to the new cast, I think I'm going to write my letter to her later on today, really want to write to Charles Cottier too, as he's been great in his role and is really hot too

This thread has been extremely quiet for a long while - I was just wondering has anyone sent off fan mail to the newbies, The Walker family or perhaps Shane Withington who plays John Palmer? I'm tempted to write to Samara Weaving (Indigo Walker) cos I love her!

I have to agree with everyone else; that this week has been a fantastic week of episodes. I thought it was incredibly powerful and well-written how Alan and Donald's relationship was so tenuous and as soon as Alan wants to thank his father for something and begin mending bridges he dies. I do think it was a bit of a waste to bring Alan in for only a few months, considering how important Donald ended up being to the series, and I find it slightly annoying that Rebecca doesn't appear for the funeral, however having Morag back is awesome! Lance has been absolutely hilarious in every scene to do with the anneurism, thinking he's got one And CAT scans

Did you write to Lincoln via his agency Tessa?! I'm hoping that if I send him my fan cards that I got from the helpdesk he'd feel obliged to reply. I think it would be quite cruel when obviously you want the cards back even if they aren't signed.

I think I saw some yonks ago when he first joined the cast but I've not seen any since, but saying that I've never written to him myself Thanks for the heads up. I think it would be nice to have Jon's as it would go nicely with Amy's, plus they're one of my favourite couples and I've really been enjoying Tony's arguments with John Palmer! I've just written my letter to him and one to Jay too, so I'll send them off in the post tomorrow. I'll upload some scans of my Rebecca/Amy & the Charlie Brooks one in the next few weeks when I get access to a scanner Who else are you waiting for then, Jamie? I'm waiting for David, Tessa, Bernard, Sonia, Lynne, Ada, Emily and Luke Jacobz so waiting for quite a few, although I don't expect to get replies from the male cast! I'm also not particularly optimistic about Emily, as I expect she'd have loads of fan mail. Time will tell I guess...has anyone else written to her?

I thought Alan and Donald's conersation in the corridor of the school was ver well-scripted and acted. Really enjoying these episodes, and I especially love Bobby as a character in particular.

I received another 3 letters from 7 today I had one from the helpdesk, which included cards of Marilyn, Morag and Leah, then a personal reply from Rebecca Breeds and Amy Mathews. They took 8 months, so happy!!

You really can tell these are the early years sometimes, can't you? As much as I'm really enjoying them, some of the dialogue is incredibly clunky und unnatural, i.e. Barbara telling Donald that the thought of them falling in love again "revolts" her! Having said that, I really think they had a brilliant character in Donald. He has everyone's best interests at heart, and says what he thinks, but he just really gets on the wrong side of people. Having seen these early years, I can now understand why he was the way he was whe he returned to the show back in 2007 - it turns out that his behaviour which I considered out of character was actually very in-character. I'd really like to know why this unhealthy relationship has devloped between Alan and Fisher. Obviously we've seen that they don't get on, but we've never actually been told why. It's funny looking back and seeing Alan and Bobby scheming against Fisher when it eventually turns out that they're both his children! Another thing - does anyone else think it was mighty weird to see them using type-writers in episode 139? It's a very strange thought that back in 1988 the writers and storyliners must have had to use type-writers to produce storylines and scripts, that must have been a real pain! I still feel as though Floss and Neville are bit-parts - I think the scene where Floss broke down to Neville about Pippa's predicament proved this.

I have to admit, it's nice seeing a few more faces in the early episodes who are recognisable and relevant to current Home and Away. Colleen seems as bogan and OTT as ever, though at this stage she does seem rather funny! I really like Narelle, she should have stayed longer! I'm finding it really hard to empathise with Carly at the moment, she just seems like a total b*tch a lot of the time - saying to Matt "I don't care about your dad's back, I care about us not being together"

Does anyone know how long Narelle sticks around for? I think she was a great character, shame she was never made permanent. Plus I searched Amanda Newman-Phillips on IMDB but it seems she dropped off the radar after 1992. :???:

I think Carly and Bobby are both amazing characters. Really defined personalities, to an extent I think somer of the things Carly does are annoying, but at the same time Bobby always lashes out at everyone, but I can always see the reasons behind her actions. The prank on Celia was hilarious
