Extended Summary

Dana is putting up flags in on the beach, becoming more and more frustrated. Tane comes along with Archie and says he’s staying with him tonight. Dana makes a comment about Harper’s choices but doesn’t give details. Meanwhile, Harper and Kerrie arrive back at the motel, with Harper annoyed that Kerrie went out. Kerrie says she just wanted some fresh air and dismisses the incident as Dana being a drama queen. Harper says that Kerrie doesn’t know who Dana’s grown up into. Kerrie says she wants to make up for it.

At the farm house, Mackenzie is on the phone to the clinic discussing an implantation. She says she’ll have to talk to her partner about it, before telling a listening Levi that they’re good to go when she’s at the right stage of her cycle…which is now. The clinic can book them in tomorrow or they can wait until next month if they’re not ready.

David comes to see Eden and tells her that he hasn’t got full authorisation for the programme yet but he’s confident enough that he’s brought her the brochure for the training modules. Remi has come in during the conversation and Eden says Sonny told her about the festival. Remi says Sonny and Justin are still in the city. He asks about her talking to David. Eden says he could be her boss soon and shows him the brochure.

Levi and Mackenzie discuss the fact that they’d decided to do the implantation but didn’t know it was going to be tomorrow. Mackenzie suggests the universe is lining things up for them. After a bit of debate, Mackenzie says she wants to do it tomorrow and Levi happily agrees. At the Diner flat, Dana is on the phone to Sonny, updating him. He suggests coming to see him to avoid Kerrie. Tane and Archie turn up and Tane gives her some wine to thank her for talking to Harper. He wonders what she was upset about earlier. Dana tries to avoid telling him until he asks if she’d tell him if it affected Archie. Dana tells him Kerrie was in the Bay with Harper today.

Kerrie gives Harper a glass of wine, saying she can make use of the minibar even though Kerrie’s not drinking anymore. She tries to ask about meeting Archie but Harper suggests she think about going back to the city. Kerrie goes to the bathroom. Tane comes to the door, saying Archie’s with Dana and asking about Kerrie being in town. Kerrie appears and introduces herself and Tane wonders why she’s still there. Harper says she’s just going and can explain. Tane and Harper go to Salt and chat on the balcony. Harper assures her that Kerrie just turned up without warning and that she’s not going to be meeting Archie this time. Tane is mollified by the promises and by Harper saying Kerrie’s not staying.

Harper arrives back at the motel room to find Kerrie still there, wanting to stay. Harper notices she has a bag of toiletries with her and wonders if this was always planned. Kerrie claims she always carries an overnight bag with her because her car’s unreliable. Harper says they have to take reconnecting slowly because it affects other people. Kerrie asks why Tane’s deciding who sees Archie. Harper says they’re co-parenting and Kerrie asks for the full story. Next morning, Remi is playing outside Salt with a crowd including Eden. Levi and Mackenzie come along and Levi notes it’s been a long time since he played there. Mackenzie thanks Eden for covering at Salt.

Harper and Kerrie go to the Diner for breakfast. Kerrie comments that things obviously aren’t perfect between Harper and Tane with solicitors involved. Harper is picking up Archie in an hour and agrees to talk to Tane about Kerrie seeing him. Harper goes to take a call from her solicitor. Marilyn serves Kerrie and learns she’s Harper and Dana’s mum. Dana comes in and immediately leaves. Following, Kerrie asks Dana to be there when she meets Archie. Dana refuses and says Kerrie’s already had all the chances she’s going to have. At the surf club, Tane is waiting with Archie. Dana turns up and tells him she’s just seen Kerrie. She thinks they can’t trust Harper anymore, especially with Kerrie saying she’s meeting Archie today.

Shortly after, Harper is waiting outside the surf club. David comes along and they briefly chat about how she was supposed to meet Tane but he’s already left. David exchanges a few words with Remi before Eden says she’ll talk about the training with him if he comes up to Salt. Remi gets a message from Sonny about comp tickets and tells Eden she can have one. Eden declines, saying she’s got too much on, but wishes them luck.

At the Diner flat, Dana sends a message to Sonny saying she’s coming to see him. Harper turns up looking for Tane and Archie, talking about Tane not returning him. Dana says she last saw them at the surf club and she’s going away with Sonny to escape from Harper and Kerrie. She suggests Tane might be doing the same thing with Archie.

Levi and Mackenzie arrive home. Mackenzie says she feels good about this one but they have to do it right, and not tell anyone or take early pregnancy tests. Mackenzie fails to notice a call from Tane, who is sat in his car near the surf club with Archie. He is about to set off when Eden appears next to him and asks if he’s going somewhere.

Soon after, Tane, Eden and Archie are all at the Newman house. Tane admits he was considering leaving town to keep Kerrie away from Archie. Eden reminds him that taking off with Archie is what caused the custody battle in the first place. Tane says he’s stuffed if he runs and Archie could be in danger if he stays.

Harper arrives back at the motel room and tells Kerrie there’s been a miscommunication about Archie. Kerrie is suspicious and tells her to call her solicitor or the police and stand up for herself.
