Lacey and Jo align. Mackenzie and Levi await news. Will Eden get the perfect dress?

Extended Summary

Levi and Mackenzie are chatting when Abigail interrupts them, saying she needs to talk. Mackenzie leaves them to it, going to bed. Abigail can tell something’s going on and Levi explains that they’re meant to hear from the clinic whether they’ve got any embyros tomorrow and this is as far as they got last time. Abigail tells him not to bother about what she was going to say and give Mackenzie a cuddle.

Cash escorts Lacey back to the Diner flat where she calls Theo a snitch. Cash says not to blame Theo and she could have got into trouble. Lacey thinks it’s unfair that everyone knows about the case except her. Cash understands to some extent but refuses to discuss it with her. He leaves after extracting a promise to stay out of trouble. Lacey tells Theo she doesn’t blame him but is still frustrated at not knowing anything. She thinks she needs to come up with a better plan.

Next morning, Levi is slightly bemused to find Abigail washing her car. She says she’s doing it for Eden, eventually explaining her plan to sell the car in order to buy the dress Eden wants. She says she intends to use the money left over to buy a second hand car, so he’ll still have bought it for her in a sense. They are interrupted by Mackenzie saying the clinic called and Abigail sends Levi inside with her. Mackenzie says they have four embryos and the clinic want to do the implantation today. Both are excited.

Eden is looking up wedding dresses on her laptop only to find that delivery takes a minimum of six weeks. Cash turns up and Eden tells him she was working on her vows. Cash suggests they have something to eat and discuss the honeymoon. Eden agrees and he goes to get changed. Meanwhile, Theo and Lacey are walking near the beach. Theo wants her to talk to David but, seeing Jo, Lacey decides to go and talk to her instead, promising not to start a fight. Lacey tells her she knows about the hypnosis. Jo says she remembered a car coming towards them and causing her to swerve. Lacey bombards her with questions, asking what the car looked like and who was driving it, until Jo gets frustrated and walks off.

Lacey catches up to Jo and apologises, saying she’s been thinking about this for years and went a bit crazy. She convinces Jo to talk to her further. Meanwhile, at Salt, Cash suggests to Eden that he arranges the honeymoon, given she did a lot of work on the wedding. He asks the sort of thing she’d want. Eden suggests somewhere with a big bed and nice views, somewhere close to the city so they can go to bars and gigs, but not so close that they’re disturbed by traffic noises, and peaceful where it’s just them. Cash accepts the challenge.

Lacey and Jo have gone back to the Diner flat and Lacey has got a notebook. Jo starts to tell her about the number plate but Lacey interrupts and asks if David is looking into this. She then starts questioning Jo again, asking what shade of grey it was, if there was damage or a learner’s plate or passengers. Jo snaps that it was the worst day of life and she’s told her everything she remembers.

Abigail is painting a For Sale sign for the car as Levi and Mackenzie arrive back. They won’t know if the embryo took for a couple of days. Abigail says she’s going to get the car on the market quickly but first she’ll clean Mali’s brushes. Mackenzie encourages Levi to go after her but he wants to get her settled on the couch first.

At the Lyrik house, Cash asks Eden if she knows what Abigail’s going to do for the hens night. He doesn’t know what Tane’s doing either and hopes there won’t be strippers. Eden says there’s a hot cop she’d like to see naked. They head to the bedroom but she pushes him out again when she sees a dress hanging on the door. Somewhat stunned, she reads a note attached to it, then unzips the bag, saying everything’s perfect.

Shortly after, Abigail tries to hide the For Sale sign as Eden turns up at the farm house. Eden joyfully thanks Abigail and Levi, much to Abigail’s bemusement. Levi explains that he and Mackenzie went and bought the dress on the way back from the clinic and left it at Eden’s house. Mackenzie tells them to celebrate and Abigail laments that she washed her car for nothing. Inside, Levi chides Mackenzie for getting the champagne ready for the celebration, reminding her that she’s meant to rest. They both get excited about the prospect of the family getting bigger.

Theo and Lacey wait at the Diner for Jo to show up. Theo leaves them to it. Leah and Marilyn express surprise, since they thought the sisters didn’t get on. Theo says things are changing but hopes the sisters aren’t getting their hopes up. Lacey tells Jo she could have been more considerate but doesn’t want to leave it up to David, saying they can take things into their own hands.

Cash is frustrated when Lacey and Jo turn up at his house, wanting information again. Cash refuses to discuss the case with them or tell them whether or not David has ordered a search for the car. However, he does tell them that even if David does track down the car and driver, it might not be that simple since memories recovered under hypnosis aren’t admissible in court.

Outside the farm house, Eden, Abigail and Levi drink a toast to the wedding. Abigail wonders how Levi knew which dress it was and Levi says he rang Debra and asked her. Eden wonders why Mack isn’t with them and Levi tells her about the embryo implantation. He goes to check on her and Abigail asks Eden about writing her vows before saying she has a lot lined up for the hens night.

At Salt, Lacey checks on her phone and confirms to Jo that courts don’t accept hypnosis as evidence. Jo wonders if this is why David isn’t telling them everything. She’s upset that it might all be for nothing but Lacey is convinced there’s something they can do.
