Bree sees Remi and Kirby arrive back in town but it soon becomes clear that they’re in the middle of an argument. Remi tries to get Kirby to at least let him take her home but she refuses to spend any more time with him and rejects his claim that they need to finish track three. At the farm house, Mali asks Abigail how long she’s planning to stay at her mum’s. Abigail says it might take a couple of months and she needs time to reset, work out what she’s going to do with her life and possibly re-enroll at uni. Mali thinks she doesn’t need to leave. Her taxi turns up but he convinces her to wait and maybe call another one later.
Bree and Remi arrive back at the Lyrik house. Remi doesn’t understand why Kirby is upset, saying all he did was suggest another take but Kirby refused. He says it’s normal to do multiple takes to see what works best and he doesn’t know why Kirby’s against it . He wants to keep working on the track. Later, Bree brings Remi a drink. He asks her to listen to the recording and she enjoys it. Remi wants to add some vocal layering to it. Kirby arrives back and Bree says the track sounds incredible. Kirby takes this as evidence that they don’t need to do any more work on it.

Abigail says she’s going to order another taxi but Mali thinks her mum’s pushing her into this. Levi and Mackenzie arrive back and Mackenzie goes for a lie-down. She invites Kirby back to her place.
Abigail tries to insist to Levi that she needs to sort herself out. Levi says Abigail has always said their mum treats her like a baby and this isn’t the time to listen to her. He reminds her she didn’t tell Debra because she didn’t want the disappointment and criticism. He also doesn’t think she should shut Mali out. Abigail says she’s not breaking up with him and Levi asks if he knows that. He goes into the bedroom where Mackenzie is looking at the leaflets. He encourages her to do the fertility tests, saying it’s best they know if there’s a problem. Mackenzie says maybe she doesn’t want to know.
Kirby and Bree arrive at the flat and find Theo and Sonny have left empty beer bottles and pizza boxes everywhere. Bree starts to tidy up and then changes her mind, explaining that they’ve gone to the police station for more questions.
