Extended Summary

Cash and Eden arrive back outside the Lyrik house and Eden thanks Cash for walking her back, then asks him in. Both of them note that, although they’d rather be doing something else, they have to talk. Once inside, Cash asks Eden when she started remembering things. Eden says it started when she got home from hospital. Cash is shocked that she didn’t talk to him about it. Eden says it was just flashes at first and Cash accepts it would have been confusing. They kiss before deciding to go to her room.

Back at Salt, Felicity says goodbye to the last of the staff. Tane helps collect glasses, despite Felicity saying he doesn’t have to. They talk about Cash and Eden’s reunion with Tane noting Cash probably won’t be home any time soon. Felicity hopes Cash can be happy and Tane says it’s good if they can find their way back to each other. Felicity reiterates that Tane should go and he says he’ll see her around. He goes home, gets a drink from the fridge and sits on his own.

Next morning, Ziggy has Izzy in her stroller by the surf club and convinces Dean to go for a surf to clear his head. After he’s gone, Tane comes up and chats to Izzy about having her first surf lesson. Ziggy can actually talk,she reminds him, before admitting they’ve had bad news. Tane offers to get a coffee. Later, Irene and Marilyn are serving at the coffee cart. Ziggy explains everything to Tane: Amber has organised a rental and a school for Jai. Tane suggests the new job will help Amber give Jai a good life. Ziggy recalls that Amber and Tane hooked up once and asks him about Nikau. Tane says he’s not the only one that’s moved out.

Cash and Eden are cuddled up together and he apologises for waking her. Eden asks if he’s hungry, saying Kirby probably has some coffee somewhere: She’s not sure because she usually goes out for it. Cash is happy to stay where they are. Later, Felicity turns up at the house, calling out for Eden. Eden suggests maybe she’ll go but Cash predicts she’ll be bursting through the door in three seconds, even counting down with accuracy. Felicity quickly closes the door again, shouting out that they should have told her, but smiles as well.

Tane has filled Ziggy in on Felicity moving out and breaking up with him. Ziggy is aghast, saying they were practically married. Tane thinks that the accident changed her and notes she never wanted to get married in the first place. Ziggy hopes they can work it out but Tane thinks he needs to accept it’s over. Meanwhile, Cash and Eden emerge from the bedroom having got dressed and are not surprised to find Felicity still waiting for them, offering her congratulations. They guess she was there to speak to Eden. Felicity tries to make her excuses and leave but Cash goes out to get some food so they can speak. Felicity asks Eden for details, without the gross bedroom stuff. Eden confirms she’s remembered what happened and her feelings came back, and when she saw Remi and Bree and Tane and Felicity last night, she decided it was now or never.

Cash finds Tane pinning something on the noticeboard at the surf club and confirms he and Eden sorted things out. Tane says he’s happy for him but his mood falls slightly when Cash mentions getting back to Felicity. Meanwhile, Felicity says she always knew Cash and Eden would be good together and Eden reminds her she hated her for hooking up with him. She prompts Felicity to talk, saying Felicity and Tane will sort things out too. Felicity doesn’t think she deserves it, saying she hurt Tane and doesn’t even understand why. Cash interrupts them on returning with the food and Felicity abruptly leaves, saying to let her know when they come up for air.

Ziggy approaches Dean with Izzy’s stroller as he chats to Jai on the phone, reassuring him that he’ll join a new footy team and Dean will visit all the time. Dean tells Ziggy that Jai really doesn’t want to leave. Ziggy encourages him to go and see Jai and Dean says he’ll take the bus. After Dean has gone, Tane, who has been packing up a class, comes over to chat to Ziggy. He helps her pack up the car and she explains that a journey that takes two days there and two days back will be too far to do regularly with Izzy, while Jai is too young at seven to come on his own. Tane tries to defend Amber but Ziggy tells him not to.

Eden and Cash talk about Felicity. Cash says after what he and Felicity have been through, you sometimes don’t believe you can be happy. He suggests that maybe seeing them happy will convince Felicity that she can be happy too. Meanwhile, Dean arrives back at the farm house from his visit. He shows Ziggy that Jai drew a countdown to the days he moved (there are four left on it and the last one has a sad face on it). Ziggy suggests they move to Queensland and get a place near Amber and Jai: There’s cars and surf up there, Dean could spend more time with Jai, and she’ll be closer to Coco. They decide to look into it.

Tane arrives home to find Felicity there. She says she keeps on hurting him and she’s going away, which she insists is the best thing for both of them. She says it’s not running away, since she’s telling him, even though she hasn’t told Cash. Tane pulls her into a kiss and asks her not to but she leaves. Back at the Lyrik house, Cash is amused when Eden rejoins him in bed wearing his shirt. His phone vibrates with a call from Tane but Eden tells him to leave it without looking and he does.

Felicity is hitchhiking by the side of the road. A car finally stops and she gets in before it drives off.
