Extended Summary

Taylor is walking along the beach, looking unhappy. At the same time, Colby comes out into the prison yard. Other inmates are exercising but Colby just sits and puts his fist in his pocket. Taylor runs into Angelo and notes she hasn’t seen him for a couple of days. Angelo explains that he’s been finishing off the case, meaning he’ll be gone soon. He hasn’t been given his next posting yet and suggests they spend time together while he’s there.

Leah and Justin come back in and ask Tori where Christian is. Tori says he’s gone and is angry that he dismissed her opinion about Jasmine. Justin suggests she should have talked to Christian about it and Tori retorts that she didn’t because he was wrong. Leah suggests Tori get some fresh air. Tori says she’ll take Grace out, leaving Leah to look after Justin. Leah suggests that Justin should stay out of it. At the surf club, Jasmine assures Irene that she’s now glad Grace has the bracelet and just wants to move on. Christian enters and approaches Jasmine, saying Tori didn’t send him and he didn’t deliberately seek her out but he wants to know how they can move past it. Jasmine says she’s trying to but Tori won’t let her.

Roo finds Alf sorting out a delivery at the bait shop. She is critical of Nikau for leaving without giving notice but Alf says he can’t blame him for visiting his mum. He also notes he has to accept that Martha’s telling the truth when she says things are fine. Later, the two are at the Diner. Alf says he doesn’t want any cake and Roo says he’s just an excuse for her to buy it. Alf gets a phone call and Roo predicts it’ll be Martha, since she’s the only person that rings Alf on his mobile. Alf asks Martha when she’ll be back and notes she sounds upset but doesn’t get any response. Irene looks awkward throughout which Roo notices, following her out and telling Alf not to touch the cake. (He starts attacking it with a fork anyway.) Outside, Irene tells Roo that Martha spoke to her in confidence but assures her that Martha isn’t sick.

Tori is walking Grace’s pram by the beach and joins Christian, who she arranged to meet there, on a bench. Tori says the situation with Jasmine is complicated and Christian doesn’t understand. Christian says that he spoke to Jasmine and she seemed ready to move on. Tori is unhappy he spoke to her, despite Christian saying he only ran into her by accident. Christian gives up and leaves. Soon after, Tori complains to Justin about Christian’s behaviour. Justin suggests that Christian might have a point. Leah comes in with the washing but stays out of the conversation as Tori protests that Justin never believed Jasmine was fine before and Justin says he trusts Christian’s judgement. Tori gets a message calling her into hospital. Despite Leah’s advice, Justin decides to call Christian, claiming he needs someone to look at his pain medication.

Taylor comes into the gym and Jasmine jokingly asks if she’s interested in the manager’s job. Taylor isn’t sure why she’s even taking appointments still, recalling that she only came to Summer Bay to be with Angelo. Jasmine suggests that Taylor could still stay in town and work there without him but Taylor thinks she’ll always be seen as the woman who fell for a murderer and cheated on her husband. Jasmine recalls Robbo always said it was best to run things off. Soon after, the two of them are warming up outside. Taylor sees Angelo on the balcony of Salt; he smiles at her and she awkwardly waves back. Jasmine wonders if Taylor wants to forget about the run but Taylor decides to go ahead.

Jasmine and Taylor finish their run and Taylor confirms it helped. Jasmine wonders how things started between her and Colby. Taylor recalls being lonely and Angelo not noticing. She says her feelings for Colby were real but she never stopped loving Angelo. Jasmine suggests things might not be over between her and Angelo. Meanwhile, Christian arrives at the Morgan house and passes Leah, who says she had nothing to do with it. Christian quickly realises Justin doesn’t need help with his medication. Justin hands Christian a beer and says he and Tori are good together. Christian says Tori’s irrational, stubborn and borderline neurotic. Justin agrees but says she has a big heart. Christian says she needs to stop living in the past where Jasmine’s concerned.

Alf is on the phone to Martha when Roo gets home and says that if he doesn’t get some answers, he’ll head down to Merimbula tomorrow. Meanwhile, Tori arrives home to find Justin sat with Christian. Justin says he called him. Leah notes she and Justin are going to bed. Christian says he was too casual and Tori says she overreacted. Christian notes Justin thinks they’re good for each other. Justin is listening at the bedroom door and complains to Leah that they’re being too quiet, adding that it’s good to have another bloke about. Christian and Tori shake hands and agree a truce. Christian does add however that there’s three people in their relationship: Jasmine says she wants to move on and he hopes Tori can too.

Angelo meets Taylor at Salt and says he was surprised to hear from her. He goes to get some drinks. Jasmine stops by the table and tells Taylor she hopes things go well if that’s what they want. Angelo comes back and Taylor proposes a toast to making decisions. She notes he checked out of the marriage before she did and it hurt that he used her for the investigation. Angelo says it hurt him hearing the recordings of her and Colby together. Taylor wonders how he feels. Angelo suggests that his feelings are irrelevant; she needs to work out whether or not she still loves Colby first.

Next morning, Colby comes out into the prison yard. He asks a guard who’s visiting him and the guard retorts that he’s not Colby’s social secretary. Colby is bewildered when Taylor enters and comes over to his table, asking what she’s doing there.
