Extended Summary
Roo awkwardly crosses paths with Owen and when Marilyn drops mail to him, he tells her it’s something that will finally clear things up. Owen sits Roo and Alf down to give them the news he’s just discovered he is, in fact, the twin of Evan, who were separated at birth and adopted off. The news is a massive shock to Roo, more so Ryder. Owen asks if Ryder can be the person to fill in the blanks about his long-lost brother who he never got to meet.
When Mackenzie meets Jai, she’s shocked to learn he’s Dean’s son and her nemesis, Amber is the mother. Mackenzie and Ziggy console their shock together.
Spending the morning with his son has gone off without a hitch, but when Jai asks Dean straight out if he’s his dad, Amber is left with no choice but to tell him the truth. Jai’s reaction is the icing on the cake and the trio’s bond suddenly becomes apparent. When Ziggy joins them for lunch, it’s reiterated she holds no place in the trio’s life. When Dean finds Ziggy packing to stay out at the Farmhouse, she makes an excuse about it but deep down, Dean knows she’s hurting.
