Nikau and Bella are separated. Is Dean ready for the ultimate responsibility? Roo comes face-to-face with her past.
Extended Summary
Nikau has separated from Bella and flags down a passing car which happens to contain Tane, Ari and Mackenzie. He bolts on foot with his uncles in hot pursuit. Nikau leads the trio back to he and Bella’s campsite but Bella has collected her things and fled. Nikau is crestfallen and heartbroken. The trio are resolute, they must find Bella before it’s too late. Angelo is waiting and she is up against the elements of rugged Australia.
Dean finally meets Jai and is immediately besotted with his son. However, in a bid to protect the child from possible disappointment, Amber has made the executive decision to introduce Dean as a friend, rather than Jai’s father. Ziggy is unsettled but remains stoic and supportive as they navigate this unusual situation.
Roo has another sighting of Evan’s ghost and decides to go forth with the seancé. Concurrently Ryder and Alf spot Evan’s doppelganger in the flesh at the Surf Club – both immobilized in shock. They approach the man, explaining the situation and return to Roo with Owen in tow.
