Episode 7276

Extended Summary

Willow is setting up a class on the beach and wonders why Alex is there. Alex first claims she’s checking Willow out, before admitting she’s finding it hard to go back to the hospital where it all happened, but insists she’ll be all right. Colby appears and worries that Willow’s left Jasmine alone. Willow assures him Irene’s there and he apologises, saying he’s been with Bella at the hospital. Alex similarly apologises for not finding a counsellor for Bella, saying she’ll get onto it. After Alex has gone, Willow says Jasmine still isn’t making decisions and Colby says the funeral’s tomorrow.

At the flat, Irene and Jasmine have retrieved a suit for Robbo. Jasmine notes he only has one because she made him get one for the wedding and wonders if he should be buried in it or not. She wants everything sorted before Wendy and Ian get there and worries that they’ll blame her and not want her in their lives, since they’re her last link to Robbo. Colby turns up and suggests waiting for Ian and Wendy to get there to make decisions. Jasmine decides to get some biscuits ready for them.

Tori emerges from her room and says she’s sorry, then realises Justin isn’t there. She leaves him a voice message, saying she’s sorry and they need  to organise Mason’s memorial. At Salt, Justin notices the voicemail from Tori but doesn’t listen to it. Ben turns up and expresses his sympathies for Justin’s loss and for everything that’s going on with Leah. Justin asks if he’s got half an hour.

Jasmine has retreated to her room, where Irene says she has to go down to work and gives her a list of things she needs to sort out. She offers to stay but Jasmine says it’s fine. Irene chats to Colby before she leaves. Colby gets a phone call and asks for an update on Des and Victor. Jasmine comes out and he says the call was about an incident last night. Jasmine is planning to go to the funeral home when Ian and Wendy get there.

Justin talks to Ben about delaying telling Tori. Ben acknowledges he was trying to protect her. Justin rejects another call from Tori, saying she’d just yell at him. He says there’s no news of Leah and he’s hoping she got cold feet and ran off given the alternative. He notes when someone’s been gone this long, it usually turns out badly. He asks Ben how he coped with his troubles. Ben says he’s not out of the woods but sitting around on your own doesn’t help and neither does pushing away the people you love.

Colby greets Ian and Wendy outside the flat, saying he’s sorry for their loss. Jasmine comes out and Wendy notes she just wanted to see Grace…and Jasmine, who she gives a hug. Later, once they’ve gone inside, Wendy gets Ian to make the tea, saying he needs the practice. Jasmine admits she hasn’t got many funeral arrangements done and Wendy says they’re there to help. Jasmine isn’t sure how she’ll get through it. Wendy recalls Robbo feeling the same when they buried Lauren and the kids, and that she told him they would because they had to. Ian brings the tea over and Colby leaves them to it.

Tori is on the phone to someone, arranging a private service with family and friends. Justin arrives and Tori has a go at him, saying she’s had to find a crematorium halfway between Brody’s and theirs and calls him selfish. Justin says a lot of things have happened that he doesn’t want either. Grace starts crying and Justin says he’ll see to her, adding that it would help if she didn’t attack him every time he came through the door. Tori gets a text from Jasmine saying Robbo’s parents would like to see Grace.

Jasmine shows Wendy the suit. Wendy agrees it’s a good choice and says she knows it’s from the wedding, since she has the photo on her mantelpiece. She wonders if there’s anything Robbo should be buried with. Jasmine suggests photos of Robbo with Grace, and Sophia and Lucas. Wendy adds one of Robbo and Jasmine and says they brought a rose from a bush that Robbo saved up his pocket money to buy her when he was twelve, which Jasmine agrees should go in as well. They join Ian, who is struggling to keep it together and says he’ll meet them at the car.

Justin is tending to Grace as Tori asks his opinion of her outfit. Justin says they won’t care how she looks, just whether or not she’s a crazy person, which the jury’s still out on. Tori starts to talk about earlier but then Jasmine arrives with Wendy and Ian. Tori goes for a hug and gets an awkward hand hold instead. Wendy declines a tea, saying she just wants to hold Grace, and politely brushes aside Tori’s advice on how to do so. Later, Ian and Wendy are doting on Grace with Justin watching from a distance. Tori joins Jasmine outside and apologises for not calling. She says she can’t believe Robbo died in a car accident after everything. Jasmine agrees it doesn’t make sense.

At the Diner flat, Willow chats to Colby about her worries about Alex. Colby isn’t really listening and Willow asks how he is. Colby wants to get Jasmine through tomorrow. Jasmine turns up, saying Ian and Wendy helped with the arrangements and have gone back to the motel. She’s not sure about her speech but says she’ll see them in the morning. She sits on the bed, trying to write something before adding it to a set of screwed up pieces of paper.

Tori comments to Justin that things could have gone worse with Robbo’s parents. Justin agrees they weren’t the warmest. Tori apologises to Justin, saying she knows he’s been holding the family together for months. Justin says when she sent him the photo after Grace was born, he thought things were finally going to get better, then next day she was gone again. They hug and agree they need each other.

Jasmine is asleep when she hears Robbo’s voice. She goes into the front room and finds Robbo looking after Grace as if nothing has happened. When she expresses surprise at him being there, he asks where else he’d be. Then she wakes up for real. Next morning, Justin and Tori are getting themselves and Grace ready. Tori wonders about taking Grace. Justin says it’s important for Robbo’s parents and Tori, and that Grace won’t remember. He says he’ll be by her side.

Irene and Willow turn up at the flat. Colby says he knocked on Jasmine’s door earlier and she didn’t answer. Irene knocks on the door and, on getting no response, she and Willow go in. Jasmine has changed into her funeral clothes and says she’ll never be ready for this. She gets up and takes a deep breath.
