Extended Summary

At the Diner, Ash and Leah discuss the fact that Dean and Willow’s court case will have started. Tori and Robbo come in, both looking happy. Irene asks if they saw Jasmine and they say they didn’t. Leah and Tori exchange cryptic remarks. Irene calls Leah into the kitchen and asks what’s going on. Leah initially plays innocent, then says it’s not her place to say anything. Irene heads home where Jasmine is distracting herself with a lengthy monologue about dinner. Irene asks what happened and Jasmine says Tori beat her to it, telling her about the hug. Irene says it’s probably innocent and reminds her Robbo said he had feelings for her. Jasmine thinks they weren’t real and he’s made his choice.

Tori and Robbo go up to his flat. Tori says they should get in touch with the clinic she’s been using in the city. She says they’ll probably want to run tests and also want them to do counselling where Robbo might be asked about his kids. Robbo doesn’t look comfortable but tells her to make the call. Meanwhile, Justin, Willow and Dean drive up to the caravan park. Dean says an abrupt goodbye but Willow goes after him. Alf comes over and Justin tells him they both got community service and Dean also got a good behaviour bond: The judge recognised that he helped the police with the robbery at Salt and had tried to turn his life around. Dean doesn’t seem too thrilled though. Willow goes to Dean’s van but he has no interest in anything other than getting drunk. Willow thinks he shouldn’t be alone. He eyes up a couple of female guests and says hopefully he won’t be. Willow tries to insist on staying but Dean says he’s going to change out of the suit (which he’ll drop round to Justin in the morning). He starts undressing and Willow leaves.

Tori gets off the phone and tells Robbo the clinic’s had a cancellation and they can fit them in tomorrow. Robbo suggests they keep the news to themselves for now. Tori agrees, since they don’t know what’s going to happen. They say their goodbyes. Outside the Diner, Tori is accosted by Leah, who says she’s been wiping tables waiting for Tori to emerge. Tori says she can’t tell her anything but that’s enough for Leah to know there’s something to tell. She promises not to say anything. Robbo comes out onto the balcony and he and Tori exchange awkward but companionable looks.

Justin and Willow are celebrating at his place, although Willow notes she’ll be doing community service for six months. Tori comes home and is filled in, congratulating Willow. Willow gets a call from Robbo and goes outside to take it. Tori tells Justin she’s going to the city for a couple of days and leaves as Willow returns and tells him Robbo wants her to cover the gym while she’s in the city a couple of days. Justin says Tori’s doing the same. Willow leaves for home as Tori appears and suggests cracking open the bubbly.

Willow arrives home to a warm greeting from Irene, who is pleased to have her back. Jasmine emerges from her bedroom and also welcomes Willow back. Willow suggests an evening of ice cream and laughs but Jasmine says she’s tired and has a headache, going back to her room. Willow senses something’s wrong and, with Irene’s agreement, goes to check on her. Jasmine asks about Willow’s day: She says it was scary but she learned something. She starts her community service the next day and comments on Tori and Robbo going to the city together. Jasmine reveals she likes Robbo.

Justin knows that Robbo said yes to Tori’s request and is less than enthusuastic about the fact. Tori goes off to her room annoyed, saying she just wanted him to congratulate her. Back at the beach house, Jasmine fills Willow in on Robbo declaring his feelings and her turning him down and then changing her mind. Willow says she thought Tori and Robbo were together once but was wrong. Jasmine asks for another explanation to them going to the city together. Willow (semi-seriously at most) suggests he had a two for one pass at the day spa or they went clothes shopping. Irene listens in to them laughing together and smiles.

Dean is drinking heavily in Salt. Alf comes in to collect a takeaway and reminds Dean he’s starting community service the next day and doesn’t want to get off on the wrong foot. Dean replies that he usually does. Alf comments that not many people get second chances. Dean makes it clear that not going to jail doesn’t fix everything. He heads down to the beach with a bottle in a bag. He sits down and takes a long swig from it.

Next morning, Tori is packed and about to leave the house. Justin emerges in time to stop her going without saying goodbye. He says he supports her but thinks she needs to work out a formal agreement with Robbo as to what they’re going to do as parents: He never did with Nina and it caused problems later on. Tori is disappointed that she can’t just enjoy the moment but accepts the sense of it. Dean is asleep on the beach and Justin (who is apparently out for a surf) kicks him awake. Dean refuses to talk to him and leaves.

Leah serves Robbo a coffee. Jasmine comes in but quicky leaves after exchanging awkward pleasantries. Tori turns up and she and Robbo leave together. Irene again tries to quiz Leah about what’s going on, saying she’s worried about Jasmine. Leah says Robbo and Tori aren’t together but refuses to say anymore. Outside, Tori and Robbo load up the car. Tori tells Robbo that she thinks they should see a lawyer at the clinic to work out what’s going to happen. Robbo seems thrown but agrees. Jasmine watches them leave, looking unhappy.

Justin meets Willow at Salt and tells her Dean looked worse than he did before court. Willow protests they start community service in the afternoon and goes to look for him. She finds him at the caravan park and tries to talk to him about his mum Karen. Dean indicates he took Willow’s advice about her before and it ended badly. He says he has a fresh start but Karen doesn’t. He’s going to toe the line at community service and anything else isn’t Willow’s business.
