Olivia’s launch party proves to be a success. Brody is accused of assault. Raffy opens up to Roo about her future.
Extended Summary
The aftermath of Olivia’s launch party. Brody is trying to get Raffy to act normal but before they can Kat comes by and sees them and her condition. Brody tells Kat that he is taking her home. Meanwhile Olivia and Hunter try to clean up and repair the mess left. Kat approaches them asking how this happened. They explain that people where sneaking drinks and Kat explains that they will need to tell the owner meaning they will lose their bond which was Irene’s money. Just as Olivia laments this Irene walks in asking for an explanation. The next day Olivia apologises again to Irene and is still healing from the failure last night. While checking in for his bail, Brody is confronted by someone her reported who accuses Brody of stabbing him before being dragged away by police but in front of Kat. She immediately takes a statement from Brody as things don’t look good. Despite Scarlett’s defence an investigation is still being taken into the matter. It becomes clear that Hunter is trying to shield Olivia from seeing anything that’s been posted online. On the way to the beach they run into John who gives them a stern talking too about the launch party mentioning that it’s all over the news. Olivia then checks her phone to see a torrent of online comments hating on her designs, she lashes out at Hunter knowing he knew about it and angry that everyone hates her designs. Feeling like she can’t come back from this, Olivia is ready to give up. Later as she packs up Olivia designs Hunter tells Olivia good news that there are a people that are posting positive reviews as she reads the comments her phone starts buzzing showing that she is making lots of sales. Olivia is overjoyed!
At the pier apartment, Scarlett is working through Brody’s case file while Kat looks on. Scarlett hopes to win Brody’s case to help get her career back on track. She begins asking Kat for favours and help with the case and Kat others her some advice of how he can help them both, Scarlett with her career and Kat with the drug bust case. The next day he tells Scarlett a few names of people whom he dealt with which impress Scarlett who is hopeful this will help his case. Irene sees Brody during a moment of contemplation and offers her help if he needs it, he tells her that he broke things off with Ziggy. While Kat takes the statement of Jay (the man accusing Brody of stabbing him) things don’t look too good. Scarlett is worried that she isn’t good enough to defend Brody but is assured by him that she is, she then receives a phone call saying new evidence has come in. They have a witness confirm that Brody stabbed Jay. Scarlett then jumps into lawyer mode and tries to get Kat to drop the case to no avail. Irene comes over to support Brody when Kat arrives with a search warrant for the house.
At Marilyn and John’s, Raffy is dealing with a hangover and a lecture from John and Marilyn and explains that she just wanted to fit in and was just trying to feel normal. Marilyn and John’s advice to her however only upsets her as she tells them she isn’t settling into yr. 10. Later while studying Roo comes over for a tutoring session and sends John out. She then has a heart to heart with Raffy about the choices she made and how important it is to be yourself, she highlights that it’s not worth being someone else at the cost of losing herself. John and Marilyn tell Raffy that if she would like to move back down to yr. 9 that she has their full support they just want her to be happy.
