Brody breaks up with Ziggy. Hunter organises a launch party for Olivia. Raffy’s drink is spiked by Jennifer.
Extended Summary
Hunter, VJ and Olivia hang out at the pier and talk about how Olivia hasn’t been doing any of her uni work as she has been preoccupied with her website which she considers a failure as she has only made three sales. Hunter approaches Justin about organising a launch party at Salt who gives him Felicity’s number. The tri hang out at the beach and after a swim while Hunter takes a call, Olivia tells VJ its ok if he wants to go out with Coco but he tells her he doesn’t think of her like that. Hunter reveals that they can have the launch party but it’s got be that night. They turn to Roo and Marilyn for help planning and organising the event. Olivia has created bands for the people over 18 to wear. She is stressing that they will never be able to get everything ready in time forgetting about her speech. The party has kicked off and seems to be a success at first. Jennifer who is at the launch taunts Raffy before convincing her to join them. John AND Marilyn leave Raffy at the party who has bene taken under Jennifer’s wing and who encourages Raffy to make fun of Olivia’s design who overhears them. VJ brings a dress to the diner for Coco to wear and waits for her to finish her assignment so that she can come to the party with him. Olivia gives her speech but its interrupted by the people yelling and screaming and catcalling. Jennifer pressures Raffy into drinking. Hunter notices that the party seems to be getting out of control with people getting drunk. Raffy is getting increasingly more drunk as the girls have spiked her drink. Olivia notices that underage kids are drinking and that it could as the venue lose their license. Brody sees Raffy drunk and goes to take he rout as the police walk in and start checking IDs and leaving Olivia ruling the night as a disaster.
Ziggy upset over her fight with Ben runs over to Brody’s and falls crying into his arms. Ben is refusing to let Brody win and can’t listen and reason with Maggie and is about to leave to go hurt Brody when Coco comes out and begs him not too to which he yells at her. Ziggy tells Brody that she has never seen her Dad so angry and its clear she is still upset. Justin tells Brody that she needs to go work things out with Ben and that they can’t hide things forever. While the Astonis walk on the beach they run into Ziggy and Brody and Ben where he apologises to her about getting mad and tells her he wants her to come home however he won’t yield when it comes to Brody and so neither will Ziggy. She tells him if he can’t accept the relationship then he can get lost. Maggie tells him to accept her decision as an adult with Maggie telling her she can come home at any time and door is always open. Coco tells her parents she feels bad about Ziggy and doesn’t understand why they can’t accept Brody. VJ sees a sad Coco at the diner and tells her about the condom incident who then walks out to go find Maggie and tell her to stop embarrassing her. She then admits to her mum that she likes VJ and thinks he may like her too but is happy hanging out and isn’t looking for anything serious to which Maggie replies she is happy for her and to talk to her if she needs. Ziggy wants to go to Olivia’s launch party to which Brody tells her to go, once she leaves he tells Justin about running into the Astonis and how sad they all were and how guilty he feels. Justin feeling for his brother goes over to see Ben with Brody who tells Ben he wants to fix things. Brody tells Ben that he loves Ziggy and that he just wants to make Ziggy happy however Ben is unyielding and says the destroying of his family is on him. Justina and Brody go the diner and talk things over. Brody goes to the launch and breaks up with Ziggy as he feels bad that he is ruining their family and doesn’t want to be the one to tear them apart. Ziggy devastated runs off and having nowhere else to go goes back home. She tells her parents that from now on her life is none of their business before heading into her room and breaking down.
