Extended Summary

Justin finds Tori thinking on the beach when she gets a frantic phone call from Mason saying Beth needs a hospital ASAP. Justin overhearing tells Mason to hold on and they will come and find them. Beth unable to hold on any longer and Mason, panicked puts Beth in the car and begins driving her to the hospital even though he shouldn’t yet be driving. Mason starts to have flashbacks of his accident while driving and panicked almost crashes the car before pulling over just as Justin and Tori arrive. Tori immediately sets to work on helping Beth and gets her settled and into an ambulance. She tells Mason to go home and rest or he too will end up in the hospital. Mason is stressed at home thinking about Beth, who turns up at their house. She tells Mason she is feeling better and tells him what happened today has happened before and while scary she is ok. Mason tells her he thinks they should slow down but she says that he makes her happy and that’s more important and that she wants this to which he agrees. Brody, Justin and Tori come home to meet Beth where he introduces her as his girlfriend. As Mason walks Beth out Tori tells the boys that she is worried about how attached Mason is to her as she is getting worse and will get hurt. Brody says he hasn’t seen him this happy ever and Justin says they will just be there for him.

Ben and Ziggy are enjoying a father daughter morning surf. Ben tells her that she seems happier recently and that its due to her steering clear of bad influences. Brody wants to tell her parents and is nervous about his upcoming case. He offers to come with Ziggy to tell her parents. At the pier diner, Coco and VJ study together. They are interrupted by Maggie and Ben who notice the banter between the two and seem accepting of their friendship and possible relationship should it eventuate. Back at the Astoni house as they talk about Ben’s growing like of VJ the bin bag he is holding breaks revealing a condom wrapper. Ben and Maggie instantly think it belongs to Coco and think she is sleeping with VJ. While Maggie initially thinks it belongs to Ziggy, Ben assures her that it’s not hers as they talked this morning and its Coco who hangs around a boy 24/7. Maggie tells Ben they need to be cool about this. While hanging with Brody, Ziggy gets a phone call from Ben asking if she is seeing someone which she denies. Brody thinks Ziggy is ashamed of him and is sick of lying causing a fight between the two when Ziggy refuses to tell her parents. Back at the diner Ben and Maggie approach Leah about VJ and Coco sleeping together and who laughs and doesn’t think it’s true. Leah suggests they talk to Coco and she will talk to VJ but is adamant that nothing is going on. Leah talks to VJ who tells her that he doesn’t think of Coco as anything more than a friend especially after everything with Billie. At home they both corner Coco and ask about her relationship with VJ until Ben blurts that he knows they are having sex causing Coco to freak out and saying that’s gross and that they aren’t dating. Maggie and Ben then figure out that Ziggy is sleeping with Brody and lying to them. Ben is in denial but Maggie manages to convince him. Brody finds Ziggy and apologises and they patch up after their fight with Ziggy agreeing to tell her parents. Ziggy comes home to an unsuspecting ambush where Ben straight out asks if she is with Brody, she tells him that he will never give him a chance and tells him that they are together. Ben and Ziggy have a fight where Ziggy tells them that they only critical and judge her while Brody support her, she goes to storm out and Ben tells her to not come back leaving an angry and upset Maggie begging Ben to say something to fix the situation.
