Extended Summary

John begs for Gina’s forgiveness after she saw Jill plant a kiss on John. It’s the second time Gina has seen them together and it feels like the final straw for her. When John comes over to apologise further, Gina pours water over his ahead and tells him to leave her alone. He ends up sleeping outside her door, and she isn’t impressed when she finds him the next morning. Romeo reassures Gina that his mother, Jill, would have been the instigator when it came to flirting with John. It’s then that Gina feels like she may not have given John much of a chance to explain. She calls him and leaves a message, hoping to make amends. Gina’s concerns however are valid, considering Jill is still trying it on with John. He is firm with Jill as he explains to her that he’s not interested. Jill thinks that John’s kiss told another story.

Romeo is apologising to Alf for his mum – once again Jill has woken up on his couch with a big hangover. Romeo makes things clear for his mum – he’s not taking the money because he doesn’t want to end up like her.

Angelo has been told by his superiors to discontinue his surveillance on Martha, but it’s clear to Charlie that Angelo is nowhere near giving up. Angelo gets a warrant for it and Martha is shocked to discover Angelo on her doorstep with the warrant while Hugo is inside. However the police search comes up with nothing and with the coast clear, Martha and Xavier go looking for Hugo. It’s then that Hugo, making his way out of the attic, crashes to the ground. Even though he’s injured, Hugo insists on not calling an ambulance or there’s a good chance he will be busted. When Rachel is called out to the farm on an emergency, both she and Tony are shocked to discover the emergency is in fact Hugo – he’s back from the dead and standing in front of them. Tony punches him for being so stupid before hugging him, but Rachel finds herself frozen, unable to help Hugo.

Angelo’s next step is to get new warrants for both Tony and Gina’s houses but Charlie thinks Angelo won’t have many friends left at the rate he’s going. The Austin family are suffering enough. Angelo finally cracks and realises how disappointed he is in losing sight of Hugo. In a flurry of disappointment and anger he finds himself downloading to Charlie, apologetic that he’s put Charlie and everyone else through this nightmare. Charlie insists Angelo hasn’t put her through anything and they are still friends. It’s then that Angelo realises just how much he misses Charlie in his life and they soon find themselves locked in a romantic embrace. Charlie and Angelo break apart after their passionate kiss – awkward, confused and wondering what just happened.
