Amanda plays the outraged wife as she pulls away from Josh’s kiss. She clarifies that they are business partners – and that’s it! Josh knows better – he grins to himself as Amanda rushes off… At home, Graham comforts his distraught wife as she sobs about the mess she is in (with Morag’s accusation). He asks Amanda if that is all she is crying about? Amanda says it is…little does Graham know! At the Hunter house, Jack and Martha tell Beth, Tony and the others about Morag’s accident and her accusation to Amanda – Beth is intrigued by the news… Later that day, Beth runs into her father at the Diner and she can’t hold back! She tells Graham about Amanda’s visit to her house and that she told Beth she only wanted Graham’s cash. She knows her father will believe his wife because he is too blind to see the truth! Graham doesn’t back down – we love each other! Graham returns home and hands his beloved wife a cheque for $50,000. Amanda grins, ‘I love you’ and takes the cheque gleefully. Love is blind…
Later that night, Amanda shows Josh the cheque she has just scored from Graham – it was so easy! Josh eyes the zeros, happy with the first sum of money. He then turns to her and insists that Amanda should admit she feels something for him – she hesitates… They begin to argue about it when Josh pulls her in for a passionate kiss and this time Amanda doesn’t put up a fight! Anxious Robbie talks of heading back up to The Farm to rescue Tasha – Beth and Tony remind him that he needs to rest after his brush with death in the river. Robbie relents. He relives the days events of being pushed into the river to Jack and Martha, and tells them of Tasha’s rejection of him. Robbie has no proof who pushed him, he just wants to get out there to save Tasha. Jack and Martha agree with Beth and Tony – calm down and wait it out – but Robbie won’t listen. He rushes out… Back at The Farm, Jonah is comforting Tasha as she is upset about Robbie – he tells Tasha that The Believers are her family now and that they will look after her. The moment is interrupted by a voice calling out – it’s Robbie! Robbie is really worked up now – he tries to literally drag Tasha away before Jonah steps in… Tasha screams at Robbie to stay away! Jack and Tony arrive and hold Robbie back as Jonah warns that he will call the police and have him charged if he does this again! Tony and Jack drag the furious Robbie back home. Beth tries to calm Robbie – you don’t want to end up in trouble with the police… Robbie doesn’t care – he’ll do whatever it takes to protect Tasha. Beth is concerned at how fierce her son has become…
A mate of Robbie’s emails him some information he has found by hacking into the police database. It contains details on another girl who made a complaint against The Believers – bingo! Jack tells Robbie he’ll have to bring the law into play – this is confidential police material! This doesn’t stop Robbie… Later that day, Robbie is paid a visit from a girl called Rebecca – she explains that she is here to help him with Tasha as she has been in the same situation with The Believers before. Robbie is ecstatic – this is exactly what he needs! Word gets to The Farm that Rebecca has been spotted in town – Jonah’s face falls – Oh no!! Robbie asks Rebecca to stay put while he runs to get Jack – by the time he returns, Rebecca is gone! All that is left is a note – she has changed her mind about helping out and is sorry!
