Extended Summary

Brodie talks to Dani about her plans for keeping the school open. Josh comes around to pay his rent. Josh and Dani continue to flirt. Brodie tells Dani that she is hopeless.

Leah is hungover from the night before, and Colleen starts to having a go at Gypsy. Leah talks about how down Vinnie was at the not winning the camera.

Mrs Bell comes round the drop-in centre to see Flynn. The windows of her house have been smashed and the kids money stolen. Mrs Bell tries to talk Flynn into helping, but he is not too keen.

Rhys is stacking boxes on the veranda when Max comes to talk him. Max asks what’s in them and Rhys says they’re pies. The phone rings and Rhys answers it. Whilst he’s doing that, Max takes some pies. Rhys tells Kirsty to tell Josh that his parents have rang.

Kirsty tells Josh that his mum wants him to phone and they talk about pushy parents.

Sally brings some paperwork to Don and they argue over the plans for the school. Brodie interviews some Seb and Jade about what they like about the school. However Kirsty is less helpful. She then runs over to see what Max is doing. He’s trying to sell the pies. Kirsty tells him that no one will want cold pies and that they should heat them up.

Vinnie has a go at Josh who hasn’t been keeping his eye on the beach. Alf runs down to show Vinnie the paper. The winner of the video camera is none other than…..

…. Leah runs into the kitchen telling Colleen that she won the video camera. Leah is happy, but Colleen is not so sure. She thinks that Vinnie might be a bit put out by it. Vinnie walks in and Leah tries to play it cool. However Vinnie knows and tells her how pleased he is.

Some kids at the drop-in centre say that they have seen Justin and Flynn phones for cover, so he can go look for him.

Sally and Brodie talks about their plans for the school. When Brodie asks for Don’s thoughts on the matter, he again reiterates that he doesn’t want her to get involved. Don asks Seb if he would be able to get him some lunch and Kirsty says that’s fine, she knows just the place!! Seb buys a pie from Max and gives it to Don.

Alf talks about the bush fires of 1995 when the school burnt down, as well as Don’s house. Brodie notices a rip in the surf and Alf races down to have a go at Josh for not doing his job.

Rhys talks to Dani about Josh. Dani tells him that she isn’t interested in Josh, but Rhys tries to convince him. She finally lets it slip that she does like Josh.

Flynn bumps into Justin in the mall and manages to apprehend him. Two police offiers come and take Justin away.

Don comes around the diner. Vinnie films Leah and VJ. Don mentions that he isn’t feeling too well. Vinnie gets a phone call. His trials next week.

Max and Kirsty argue over the cash they made from the pies. Josh’s mum rings again and Rhys tells Max to go get Josh. Whilst Max is doing that, Rhys has a go at Kirsty.

Flynn is annoyed himself at losing it with Justin. He decides that after this case he might leave for a few days and visit his dad and his sister. Sally tries to talk him into staying for the wedding, but this Flynn’s not for turning.

Josh is talking to his parents on the phone. Dani is listening from the hall and hears Josh say that’s there’s a girl here that he likes.
