Ash broke the news to Martha of him being married, after telling her that he had a son and a daughter. Declan was born after Ash and Rihanna got back together after separating. Rihanna brought Declan and Jess to see Ash in Summer Bay as he worked there at the time. It wasn’t convenient, so he told them to come back and visit again soon. A few days later, Ash, Rihanna, Declan and Jess organized a picnic on the beach followed by drinks at the Diner. Little Declan was last seen having dinner with his mum, dad and sister.
