Extended Summary

Leah is sat outside the caravan park house first thing in the morning and is stunned when Martha comes out of the house wearing Roo’s dressing gown. Leah notes she thought Martha had gone. Alf emerges and says they got talking and Martha stayed over in Roo’s room. Leah says she wasn’t asking. Martha insists Alf stay for breakfast before opening the bait shop. Leah says she has to get to work. Meanwhile, Bella is greeted by Colby and Chelsea after getting up. She asks after Willow and Colby says there’s no change. Chelsea suggests they go downstairs for breakfast. Robbo appears and Chelsea and Bella leave him and Colby alone. Robbo says he can stay at Jasmine’s as long as Colby needs the space. He wonders if they’re still going to the city. Colby says Chelsea’s course starts next week but he and Bella might have to let her go without them.

Downstairs, Marilyn chats to Chelsea and Bella about the honeymoon being off. After she’s gone, Bella asks Chelsea about the search for Ross, worrying that he’ll come back. Chelsea thinks it’s too risky for him to do so. Colby joins them as Bella says she wishes Willow would get better so they could go somewhere he wouldn’t find them. Colby says Ross will never come after them again, which makes Chelsea look at him suspiciously. Later, they head back to the flat. Colby says he’s going to visit Willow. Bella asks to come too but Colby says she’s not meant to have visitors and he’s just going to check on Dean. After he’s gone, Bella continues to tell Chelsea she’s scared about Ross coming back. Chelsea offers to call McCarthy and get him to update them on the search.

At the hospital, Jasmine remarks to Tori that Mason said she was unwell. Tori says she’s better now and asks Jasmine to check on a patient. Meanwhile, Marilyn turns up at the bait shop with a cup of tea. Alf and Martha appear from behind her and Marilyn is surprised to see Martha still there. Martha suggests Alf join her on a walk to Stewart’s Point but he says he needs to earn money. Martha notices a photo of the Blaxland and recalls them taking it out to a quiet inlet on her 30th birthday and skinny dipping. Alf is somewhat flustered as Martha heads off on her walk. Marilyn leaves his tea.

Jasmine and Tori are looking after a patient. Jasmine asks Tori how her IVF plans are going. Tori claims she’s gone back to the idea of a sperm donor. Jasmine continues to quiz her about how she felt about Robbo refusing to use the second embryo. Tori shuts down the conversation. Later, Jasmine is at home when Robbo comes back with his things. He says he might go and see Willow in hospital later but has to go to work first.

At the flat, McCarthy is telling Chelsea and Bella that they’ve had a unit at Ross’ house but there’s no sign of him. Colby comes home and wonders what’s going on. He says Bella’s told McCarthy everything she knows but Bella agrees to answer questions. Colby is forced to sit with them. Down in the Diner, Leah tells Marilyn about Martha staying over. She suggests Alf and Martha are reconnecting as friends. Alf comes in and they says it’s a shame he couldn’t join Martha on her walk. Alf says she prefers to be on her own sometimes.

Leah and Tori meet up near the beach. Tori is certain that Jasmine knows about the pregnancy, saying she was asking pointed questions. Leah says that only she and Justin know, and neither of them have said anything, and Tori isn’t showing, so how could Jasmine know. Tori goes to the hospital and looks up her file on the computer. She sees the ID numbers of the people who’ve viewed and makes a phone call saying she needs to know about a staffmember who’s accessed confidential files.

Bella tells McCarthy about an associate of Ross’. Colby shows McCarthy out, reiterating that Bella knows nothing. He asks the others what McCarthy was doing there. Chelsea says she called him, because Bella was scared and needed to know what was going on. Bella says it’s not Chelsea’s fault but hers: She knew Ross was in town and said nothing. Shortly after, Bella explains Ross wanted her to come away with him and she refused. She thinks she shouldn’t have believed him but Chelsea calls him manipulative. Bella says he might have been a bad guy but he’s still her dad.

Martha orders sandwiches from Leah and Marilyn. Alf comes in and they discuss her walk before arranging to eat the sandwiches on the pier. Marilyn suggests Alf and Martha join her and John for lunch tomorrow. Martha says she’s meant to be heading back but Marilyn convinces her to stay. After Alf and Martha have gone, Leah warns Marilyn to watch herself. Meanwhile, Colby is getting Bella a drink. Chelsea quietly says they need to tell McCarthy but Colby says it won’t help find Ross. Colby insists to Bella that Ross won’t come after them again, saying he promised nothing would come between them and has kept that promise.

Tori knocks repeatedly on the beach house door. When Jasmine appears, Tori says she should report her for misconduct. Jasmine is doubtful Tori can lecture her on ethics, having realised she used the embryo without Robbo’s permission. Tori says it was legal and Robbo promised her a child. Jasmine is unimpressed, realising Justin and Leah know, and wants to tell Robbo. Tori changes tack, asking her not to. Robbo rings Jasmine from the gym, saying he’s going to see Willow and arranging to see her after. Jasmine insists to Tori that she’s going to tell him.

Colby joins Chelsea on the pier. Chelsea says Ross has come after Bella twice now and Colby should be as scared as she is, but instead he knows it’s over. Colby says he was just reassuring Bella but Chelsea is unconvinced: She knows Colby caught up with Ross and wants to know what happened.
