Jasmine is torn over whether or not to tell Robbo about the baby. With no change in Willow’s condition, Dean is desperate for answers. Will Colby tell Chelsea the truth about Ross?
Extended Summary
Dean is snoozing by Willow’s bedside. Robbo comes in and gives him a coffee. Dean says there’s no change and it’s a waiting game. He refuses to let Robbo take over. Meanwhile, Chelsea follows Colby back to the flat, telling him not to walk away from her. Colby says that Bella’s in the next room and he’s not going to upset her again. He heads off to the hospital.
Colby runs into Robbo as he arrives at the hospital. Robbo says he was checking on Willow and advises Colby to keep an eye on Dean. He adds to call him if there’s anything he can do, then texts Jasmine to say he’s leaving the hospital and will meet her. At the beach house, Jasmine receives the text as Tori says she panicked when Robbo said he didn’t want to try for a baby again. She didn’t think about the consequences and wants to protect Robbo by not telling him until after the first trimester. Jasmine says Tori’s lying to him and asking her to do the same, wondering what would happen if Robbo found out she knew. She says she has to get ready to meet him. Tori asks her to think about what she said.
Dean tells Colby that the doctors aren’t doing anything with Willow except monitoring. Colby tells him that Chelsea is asking questions. Dean tells him to keep his mouth shut but Colby says he can’t do that. Dean, not really interested, says he can lie or tell the truth, just let him know so he knows which story to stick to. Outside the Diner, Tori tells Leah that Jasmine could be telling Robbo right now. Leah points out that it isn’t Jasmine’s fault and Tori accepts she has to take whatever happens. She gets a call asking her to come into hospital.
Jasmine joins Robbo outside the surf club. Robbo asks whether she wants to go up to Salt to eat or go to the Diner. Jasmine says she’s not feeling well so suggests Robbo go in while she goes home. Robbo insists on getting a takeaway and joining her. Back at the beach house, Robbo mentions people are going to the gym for a last session before the marathon and also that he checked in on Willow. He worries how Dean will cope if something happens to her.
At the Diner, Alf asks John if he’s sorted out volunteers for the marathon and John says there’s about a dozen signed up. Leah appears with some moussaka she’s taking home, since Martha’s never had it. John notes Marilyn said they were coming over for lunch tomorrow. Alf says that’s why she’s stayed. Leah and John suggest it’s for him as well. At the hospital, Tori finishes up her case then goes to check on Dean and Willow. Dean asks about Willow being unconscious for so long. Tori says she’s stable and they’re cautiously optimistic that she’ll wake up. Dean settles down to wait. At the same time, Colby is sitting on the pier, Chelsea is sat in the flat and Jasmine is lying awake next to Robbo.
Colby joins Chelsea in the flat, saying he was at the hospital and then had to clear his head. Chelsea says Bella’s gone to bed. Colby says he’s not going to lie to her, but if he tells her there’s no going back. Chelsea says she needs to know. After Colby has told the story, Chelsea points out that he could have arrested Ross. Colby agrees but says he needed to make sure they were safe: There were no guarantees he’d go to prison, and even if he did then it wouldn’t be over. Chelsea says she’s going to go back to the van for a couple of days to process it.
Robbo wakes up during the night and finds he is alone; Jasmine is in the kitchen. She says she’s just worried and Robbo comforts her. Next morning, they are going to work in a happier mood with Jasmine apologising for her behaviour. Tori watches from a distance as they kiss goodbye, then approaches Jasmine and apologises for putting pressure on her. Jasmine says she’s not going to tell Robbo but that doesn’t mean she agrees with what Tori’s done.
At the Diner, Alf asks Leah for a muffin. John suggests he cancel the order since Marilyn’s cooking a large lunch, then changes his mind since Alf doesn’t want Martha to think he’s greedy. Colby comes in for a takeaway. John asks about Willow and Alf asks about Chelsea moving back into the van; Colby says it’s to give him and Bella space. Colby goes to the hospital and tries to give Dean the food. He says that if anyone ever asks questions about Ross, Dean’s to say Colby dropped him off and went after Ross on his own. He explains he’s told Chelsea everything except that Dean was there, and she’s moved out to the van: He’s told Bella it’s so she can study. Dean thinks she’ll come round but Colby notes Dean didn’t see the way she looked at him.
Outside the bait shop, John asks Alf if Martha has any allergies. Alf says she didn’t thirty years ago and wonders if Marilyn’s put John up to this, saying she’d better not try matchmaking. At the hospital, alarms start going off by Willow’s bed and Dean calls out for help. A nurse comes in and starts bagging her.
