Extended Summary

Zannis gets Brody to tell Kat to come in; Brody and Ziggy wait until just before Faz clobbers her unconscious to shout a warning. Zannis tells Faz to get some rope; he intends to leave Kat tied up and take Brody and Ziggy with them. Faz goes outside but quickly runs back in on seeing Robbo in the police car. Zannis is unconcerned, tying up Kat with what’s available and telling Faz to call Bob about another car. Meanwhile, Justin and Ash have just finished a surf and run into Tori near the surf club; she tells them about Brody being missing and worries that he’s relapsed. Justin says he’ll look for him and tells Ash to stay with Tori, even though neither of them is exactly keen on the idea. Ash says he has to go pick up Luc.

Coco’s attempt at meditating is disrupted by Ben and Maggie walking through the room arguing about Nick. Maggie says there’s nothing more that can be done with regards Jennifer’s suspension so Ben decides to meet Nick. Maggie and Coco debate the likelihood of him being able to keep his cool. At the Diner, Alf updates Leah on the heritage application. Leah is looking after Luc. Nick comes in and she explains she’s babysitting. Nick says he arranged a meeting there as an excuse to see her and invites her to have a coffee with him. Ash and Tori turn up; Tori worries she drove Brody away. Ash gets her to cuddle Luc in order to cheer her up.

Brody whispers a vague plan to Ziggy as another henchman turns up (credited as Moe, so presumably not the Bob mentioned earlier). He says there was no-one in the police car. Brody makes a rather futile attempt to charge them and Zannis tells Faz and Moe to take the pair to the car. When they get outside, Robbo charges in and easily overpowers both henchmen. Zannis takes Kat’s gun and goes outside, aiming it at Robbo. Kat recovers and quickly frees herself, dashing out. Zannis turns towards her and Robbo jumps him, removing the clip from the gun and overpowering him. Kat asks how he did that.

Leah and Nick are chatting when Ben turns up. Seeing them together, he accuses Leah of putting Nick up to it; Leah was unaware that Nick was behind the application. Nick says it’s obvious Ben doesn’t want to discuss things reasonably and walks out. Leah continues to protest her innocence but the argument is interrupted when Maggie dashes in and says something has happened to Ziggy. They rush back to the farm house where Ziggy is being looked after by Kat and Robbo. She is very relieved to see her parents and Kat says she can come to the station in the morning to make her statement. She and Robbo compare wounds and decide to go to the hospital. Maggie tries to move away from Ziggy who pulls her back into a cuddle.

Justin, Tori, Ash and Luc are reunited with Brody at the Morgan house. It’s mentioned that Zannis has been charged with kidnap and attempted murder and had his bail revoked. Ash hears that Kat was there and is at the hospital so decides to go and see her. At the hospital, Kat goes to the room where Robbo was being treated: Neither of them has needed anything more than stitches. Kat muses on the way Robbo knew how to dismantle a gun and wonders if he’s a police officer. Robbo says it was just instinct. Ash turns up with Luc and asks what Robbo’s doing there; Kat says he saved her life. The three of them leave with Robbo staying behind.

Coco gives Ziggy a tight hug, telling her not to worry her again, and offers to make tea, since that’s what you do in a crisis. Ben and Maggie watch them, with Maggie noting what happened to Ziggy was worse than what happened to her and that it took Ziggy time to get over that. They wonder if Ziggy should have counselling. At the Morgans’, Brody is cuddling up to Buddy while Justin offers to cook steak for dinner. Tori says that Raffy knows what happened and wants to see Brody in the morning. There’s a knock at the door and Brody answers: It’s Ben, who pushes Brody against a wall and tells him to stay away from Ziggy, leaving before Justin and Tori can reach them. Maggie is shocked when Ben tells her but understands, since Brody put Ziggy in danger. They decide to forget about the renovations for the moment and concentrate on family.

Leah gives Alf an update on her run-in with Ben and Alf comments on him always jumping to conclusions. Nearby, Ash tells Kat he wishes he’d been there and she replies that he couldn’t have done anything. She asks how he knew she was at the hospital and he awkwardly explains about Justin asking him to sit with Tori. Kat decides to go home instead of staying over with Ash and also turns down his offer to walk her home. At Salt, Alf has met Robbo and is congratulating him on his work, before offering him a maintenance job at the caravan park. Kat comes in and wonders how Robbo plans to pay for his drink; he jokes about doing a runner before explaining it’s on the house. Kat buys mojitas for them both since she thinks he’d like them: She wanted some alone time but doesn’t mind him being there.

Justin and Tori try to reassure Brody but he thinks what happened was his fault. While they go to sort out the food, he texts Ziggy to apologise but she texts back telling him to never talk to her again. Coco joins her, saying she can’t sleep. Ziggy says Coco being nice to her is a bit weird so Coco tells her her pyjamas are awful. Ziggy says she knows she hasn’t been a good sister to Coco and says she did something. She stops short of saying what, just saying Coco needs to know that she likes her. They cuddle up.

Tori goes to the Diner flat looking for Kat and tells Ash that she wasn’t in her van. Ash invites her in to see Luc. At Salt, Kat makes Robbo laugh with a rather woeful impersonation of his action moves, noting he doesn’t do it much. Ash sees Tori out with them noting that they’re friends again in a slightly flirty manner. There’s a similar vibe between Kat and Robbo as she ponders new leads on his identity. Robbo wonders why she’s interested and she initially claims it’s just work, before saying she’s curious to know who he is. Robbo asks who she’d like him to be.
