Summer Bay Clothing Range

Are you one of those obsessive fans who'd just love to get hold of your favourite Home and Away stars' clothes? Well, now you can come one step closer to doing so.

Seven Network are venturing into the fashion business by introducing a new line of women's clothing, inspired by 'Home and Away' and imaginatively titled 'Summer Bay'.

The range, "a mix of surf and fashion, including casually decorated tops, tanks, hoodies, track pants, skirts and denim items" will be featured in the show and worn by Matilda Hunter (Indiana Evans), Martha Mackenzie (Jodi Gordon) and Cassie Turner (Sharni Vinson).

The range is currently available at selected Kmart stores.

Tammin's Movie Break

Australia's The Courier-Mail reports that Tammin Sursok, who played Dani Sutherland in the show, is to make her film debut in Aquamarine. Tammin will play a 'bitchy bad girl' in the romantic comedy, which is currently being filmed on the Gold Coast.

According to the newspaper, "The plot follows the story of a mermaid who falls in love with a lifeguard, and enlists the help of two girls to win his heart. Sursok plays one of three girls in a 'rat pack' who set out to destroy the mermaid's chance of getting her man."

Home and Away Off the Air

Wednesday's episode of Home and Away was interrupted this morning due to a power surge at Seven's Broadcast Centre in Melbourne. Seven have issued the following statement, apologising for the loss of programming:

Seven Melbourne would like to appolgise to it's viewers acorss Australia for its power surge which interupted the following programs: Home & Away/Will & Grace (WA), Will & Grace/Blue Heelers (SA) Blue Heelers/Air Crash Investigators (QLD, NSW, ACT, VIC, TAS) on the night of Wednesday April 13.

Seven has not issued any encore screenings of the mentioned programs however severel new promotions are in process of creation to update on missed out footage.

Logie Nominations

It's Logie time once again in Australia, and Home and Away's stars have been nominated for 6 Awards.

Jason Smith and Chris Hemsworth, who play Robbie Hunter and Kim Hyde in the show, have both been nominated for Best Male Talent. Chris has also been nominated for Best Actor, alongside Beau Brady, who played Noah Lawson in the show.

Meanwhile, Bec Cartwright (Hayley Lawson) has been nominated for Gold Logie Most Popular Personality On TV and Silver Logie Most Popular Actress.

The awards take place on May 1st, and in an unprecedented move, will be hosted by Nine's Eddie Maguire, Channel Seven's Andrew O'Keefe and Network Ten's Rove McManus.
