UPDATED – Logies 2013: Steve Peacocke wins Most Popular Actor

The results for the 2013 Logie Awards, in which Home and Away was nominated for 5 ‘sMost Popular’s awards, are in.

Steve Peacocke, aka Darryl Braxton, has won ‘sMost Popular Actor’s at this year’ss Logie Awards, which are currently taking place in the Palladium Ballroom, Melbourne.

Home and Away and its actors were nominated for a total of 5 awards. The show lost out on Most Popular Drama Series to House Husbands, while Will McDonald and Catherine Mack lost out to Joel Madden (The Voice) and Brenna Harding (Puberty Blues) respectively in the categories of Most Popular New Male Talent and Most Popular New Female Talent.

Steve Peacocke was also nominated for the coveted Gold Logie for Most Popular Personality on TV, but this was won by Asher Keddie of Offspring.

Commiserations to Will McDonald and Catherine Mack, but congratulations to Steve and the whole Home and Away cast and crew!
