Picture Preview – The Birth

Posted on Categories Home and Away

Nicole Franklin finds herself giving birth in true ‘sHome and Away’s fashion in coming weeks, when she finds herself stranded on the beach as she goes into labour!

Seeing her frustration at not going into labour yet, Angelo tries to help a tired and very large Nicole by contacting his mother for some Rosetta family cures – to try and jump start the labour. As they work down the list Nicole feels herself falling for Angelo – but as they reach the final item on the list, a walk on the beach, Nicole realises her waters have broken and her contractions are starting.

Stranded at the secluded end of the beach with Nicole unable to walk, they phone Sid who tells them that judging by the contractions, Nicole will be giving birth very soon. Sure enough Nicole soon feels the baby coming, and Angelo helps deliver a healthy baby boy.

With Nicole having an arrangement to hand baby George over to Sid and Marilyn, Angelo can see the connection Nicole has to her child as she absorbs how soon her child will be taken away. And whilst Nicole does hand the baby over, when she sees the chaos that George is causing in the Walker household the following week, will she begin to regret her decision….?

Australian viewers will see Nicole give birth in Episode 5283 to be aired on Wednesday 27th April – which will be a double episode due to Seven’ss coverage of the royal wedding later that week – whereas UK viewers will see the birth on Wednesday 11th May.
