Character Departure Announced

After a week of online speculation, it has now been officially announced that Luke Jacobz has left ‘Home and Away’. Although his final scenes have already been filmed, the character of Angelo Rosetta will remain onscreen for several months to come.

Since joining the show in 2008, Angelo has been at the centre of some of the shows most controversial storylines – the shooting of Jack Holden, the year long people smuggling mystery and his relationship with Charlie have all produced fiery discussion amongst fans.

Speaking of his time on the show, Jacobz says “I’sve thoroughly enjoyed playing Angelo. I’sve worked with some amazing people – and, as they say, when one door closes, another door opens. So I’sm looking forward to what’ss next… here or abroad.

Whilst there as to been no confirmation of Luke’s next project, Jacobz has also presented the Australian version of The X Factor whilst appearing in Home and Away, and it is rumoured he is in the running for a role in another Australian drama. So whilst Angelo’s tenure as a Bay resident draws to a close, the future looks bright for Luke Jacobz.
