Bevan’s successor announced

Home and Away’ss current Script Producer Bevan Lee has exclusively revealed to BTTB who has taken over the role for the second half of 2008.

Bevan juggled his senior role as Seven Network’ss Script Executive, to take over the role of H&A Script Producer for the first half of the show’ss 20th year. Assisted by second in command Alan Hardy, they are currently wowing the Aussie audience by taking the show back to its roots, in episodes that will air until June 2008 – stories that they finished plotting last year.

Since then, Faith McKinnon and Phil Lloyd have jointly taken on the position, and have already plotted 2 months worth of storylines. Both writers acted as Associate Script Producers under Bevan, and Faith took a short role in the chair when Dan Bennett left Seven in 2006.

Bevan told BTTB that he is very happy with the decision and that Faith and Phil are doing extremely well. He also said that they are just about to start plotting the Olympic Cliffhanger.
