There was an episode where a girl was injured or sick and someone tried to provide treatment for her so he jumped off something very high in a bush or beach towards the sand

Sounds like the episode Sarah had an asthma attack up on the cliffs and the quickest way for Tug to get help was to jump off the cliff into the sea and swim to shore.

i also have a vague memory of a episode where 2 people where stuck on a cliff and calling out for help, it also showed bobby collecting plates or glasses in the diner garden and stopping because she thought she heard shouting but carried on??
