Chapter Four - Leah “Oi, leave those alone, they are for tonight” I said. “I know Mum but I’m hungry now” VJ complained. “Mmmm these look yummy” Miles tried to grab one. “Oi, I just stopped VJ from getting one. You’re just as bad as him” I said. “But I’m hungry now” he insisted. “You two go in the other room now” I barked. “Go on go” “So that didn’t really work VJ” Miles said. “I know. Let’s go to the diner. We can get something there” VJ suggested. “She’ll just say we are going to wreck our dinner” Miles said. “We can play ball” Miles laughed. “Okay” he agreed. “Go and get the ball” I walked into the other room. “We are going to play ball” Miles announced. “Okay” I replied. “You are such a great stepfather” “I know Mrs Copeland” Miles said. I grinned. “I love it when you call me that” I said. “I know that too” Miles said giving me a kiss. “Okay you two get a room” Romeo said walking in with Indi. “Yeah you are worse then us” Indi said. “Are you two staying for dinner?” I asked them. “Oh no thanks we have plans” Romeo answered. “Okay” I replied. “Oh are you guys playing ball?” Romeo asked. “Yeah want to play?” VJ asked. Romeo looked at Indi who shrugged. “Yeah sure mate” he said. “Yo ho only me” “Hi Colleen” I said. “I’ve come to pay my rent” Colleen said. “Ah okay” Miles replied. “You three go. I’ll just be a minute” “Okay” VJ said. Miles got the money off Colleen. “There’s your receipt” he said. “Thanks. Well i’ll be off” “You have plans for tonight do you?” I asked. “Yes Madge Wilkins and I are going out” Colleen answered. “Good for you” Miles said. “Anyway, see you” Colleen said. “Ah look babe a minute to ourselves” Miles grinned. “I know. I can’t believe it” I replied kissing him. “Oooh sorry. We are a bit early” Charlie said. I sighed. “It’s okay” I said. “I better go find VJ and Romeo” Miles said. “We didn’t mean to interrupt” Ruby said. “Don’t worry” I said. “So how is married life going anyway?” Charlie asked. “Amazingly” I said. “Good. Though I really miss living with you. The house just isn’t the same without you” Charlie said. “Yeah me too” I said. “So how is it going with the Braxton boys?” “Casey is just so cute” Ruby gushed. “I know i’ve said this before but I think he is my soulmate” Charlie laughed. “You think everyone is your soulmate” she said. “Yeah but this time it’s different” Ruby insisted. “Anyway, Brax is really amazing. I invited him tonight” Charlie said. “I thought you would. I cooked alot of food” I said. “So can Case come?” Ruby asked. “Yes” I said. “Oh I got a text” “Who is it from?” Charlie asked. “Bianca says I hope you guys are having a fun night. Guess where I am? Paris! Love you B xox” I read out loud. “Oh Paris. She’s so lucky” Ruby exclaimed. “She is very lucky” Charlie agreed. “I am so glad she didn’t marry Vittorio. I don’t know how she could have liked him” I said. “Yeah I know” Charlie agreed. “I didn’t like him all that much” “She’s much better off with Liam anyway” Ruby added. The plot will all become clear as you write it (waves hands mystically around head in a mystical way LOL). Keep going, I love Mr and Mrs Copeland and all the other couples.
