Chapter 14: Angelo sat in his bed with his head in his hands, he sobbed quietly. ‘Daddy’ Tom said walking into his room. ‘Yeah mate Angelo said getting up; making sure Tom didn’t see his tears. ‘What’s wrong?’ Tom asked. ‘Nothing, just daddy’s missing mummy’ ‘I have a mum?’ Tom asked. ‘Yes Tom, you do, but you can’t see her’ ‘Why not?’ ‘Because daddy has said no’ ‘That’s not fair, you don’t let Charlie to be my mummy either’ ‘I can’t let Charlie though, she hurt me and you already have a mummy’ ‘Well I want to go to Uncle Matt’s tonight’ ‘Ok, I’ll call him for you’ ‘Thank you’ Tom smiled as Angelo ruffled up his hair. Angelo dialled his brother’s number and out his phone to his ear. ‘Hey Matt, it’s Angelo, just wondering if Tom can stay at your house tonight?’ ‘Yeah I know, it’s late notice, but Tom wants to see you’. ‘Thank you’ ‘Mate go get your stuff Uncle Matt said yes’ ‘Thank Daddy, I love you’ Tom said kissing Angelo. Angelo smiled at Tom as he ran up the stairs to his bedroom. ‘I wish you were here Abby’ Angelo cried. ‘I have got this far, but I don’t think I can’t do this anymore’ Tom ran back down the stairs with his bag. ‘Just wait here, daddy’s gonna get changed’ Angelo smiled. Angelo walked up the steps got changed and walked back down. ‘Let’s go’ Tom smiled. Angelo and Tom got in Angelo’s car and they left for the city. The car trip was very silent. When they reached Matt’s house Tom ran up and knocked on his door. ‘Hey Tom’ Matt said smiling. Tom ran inside to his cousins that were playing in the lounge. ‘You’re not welcome here’ Matt said putting his arm across the door. Angelo simply smiled and walked off, ‘Bye Tom’. ‘Bye Daddy’ Tom yelled. Angelo got into his car, he didn’t know why Matt was so mean towards him, maybe because Abby was in love with Angelo and not Matt. When they were teenagers Matt and Abby were dating and when Abby stayed the night, she’d sneak out of Matt’s room and cuddle up with Angelo. Angelo smiled when he realised that the most beautiful woman in the world chose Angelo over his twin brother. Angelo put his car into gear and drove to the nearest nightclub. He went to the first one and ordered a drink. he went through about 3-4 drinks before a woman approached him . ‘Hi my name is Lilly’ A woman said placing her hand out. ‘Angelo’ Angelo smiled. ‘That’s a sweet name’ ‘Your name is pretty sweet’ Angelo smiled. ‘So, you married?’ Lilly asked. ‘No, I was’ ‘What happened?’ ‘She died, but we have a son together’ ‘Aw, what’s his name?’ Lilly asked. ‘Tom, he’s 5’ ‘Damn you took my next question out of my mouth’ Angelo smiled. ‘So you’re how old?’ ’27, you?’ ‘30’ ‘Three years isn’t that much’ Lilly smiled. ‘No it’s not, it’s kind of cool’ ‘So’ Lilly said rubbing his arm. ‘Can I get you a drink?’ Angelo asked. ‘Why what do you recommend?’ ‘What do you like, I’m buying’ ‘A beer please’ ‘Ok’ Angelo went to the bar and brought a beer for Lilly and came back with two’ ‘You’re so sweet’ Lilly smiled. ‘I know’. Lilly and Angelo flirted for about another 2 hours before they found their lips connected. ‘Yours?’ Lilly asked. ‘Yeah’ Angelo mouthed. Lilly and Angelo hurried back to Angelo’s just in case someone else saw Lilly. Angelo opened his door as Lilly kissed him on the lips, Angelo lifted Lilly up so she could wrap her legs around his waist. He continued to kiss her before he walked he into his bedroom and placed her on his bed. ‘You sure?’ Angelo asked. ‘I am always sure’ Lilly smiled. ‘OK’ Angelo nodded and went ahead and did his magic. When it was all over Angelo laid holding Lilly in his arms. ‘That was great’ Lilly smiled. ‘Yeah, it’s been a while’ Angelo smiled back. ‘Like how long?’ ‘5 years 11 months’ ‘That is a while’ ‘Well its now 30 minutes’ ‘You are pretty great’ ‘Thanks, you are from around here?’ ‘No, but my sister is’ ‘Who is your sister?’ Angelo asked. ‘Um Charlie Buckton’. ‘Are you serious? Angelo asked pulling away from Lilly. ‘Yeah, what’s wrong’ ‘She’s my… my ex’ Angelo finally mumbled out. ‘Well that doesn’t change a thing’ ‘Yeah you’re right, you’re much better than her anyway’ Angelo smiled. ‘Thank you’ Lilly said kissing his lips. Angelo smiled and rolled on top of Lilly.’ ‘Whoa’ She laughed. Angelo and Lilly made love for the second time that night. ‘You know you are the most wonderful man I have ever met’ ‘And you don’t mind that I have dated and slept with your sister’ ‘Not at all, I have you now. Where’s your son?’ ‘At my brother’s’ ‘Oh, so when do I get to meet him?’ ‘Tomorrow’ ‘Ok’ ‘Be aware, he is a spitting image of me’ ‘Serious?’ ‘Absolutely’ Lilly snuggled up to Angelo and Angelo wrapped his arms around her. ‘Good night’ Lilly said. ’Night’ Angelo said giving her a kiss’ Brax and Charlie fumbled around in her office at work. ‘Do you think Angelo will mind if we use his chair?’ Brax asked. ‘Nope’ Charlie smirked. ‘He doesn’t deserve such a good chair’ ‘Well let’s destroy it’ ‘I like the sound of that’ Brax laughed. The next morning Angelo got up and made breakfast in bed for Lilly. ‘So are you going to see Charlie?’ Angelo asked. ‘I suppose after I met Tom’ ‘Yeah Yeah’ Angelo laughed. Lilly ate her breakfast, Angelo got changed for work. They left and went and collected Tom. Angelo knocked on Matt’s door. ‘Gez you just can’t keep it in your pants can you’ Matt smirked. ‘I can thank you, now I would like to collect my son’ ‘Tom, your dad is here’ ‘Daddy’ Tom said running to him. ‘Let’s go mate’ ‘But daddy’ ‘No buts’ ‘Daddy’ Tom cried ‘You have Day Care and that excursion today, remember’ ‘Yes Daddy I do’ ‘Let’s go’ ‘Bye Uncle Matty’ Tom said waving. Tom got dropped off at Day Care and Lilly and Angelo drove to the station, Angelo walked into his office. Charlie and Brax were still kissing. ‘What is going on?’ Angelo yelled. ‘Lilly’ Charlie said sitting up. ‘Charlie’ Lilly said blinking. ‘Get out’ Angelo yelled pointed at Brax, who was doing up his belt. ‘Bye’ Brax said giving Charlie a kiss. ‘Bye Charlie smiled. ‘Charlie what are you doing with a scum like that?’ ‘Is it really any of your business Angelo, why are you with my sister?’ ‘Who said we were together?’ ‘Oh it’s obvious, walking in hand to hand, smiles all around’ ‘Charlie don’t be so cruel to him’ Lilly yelled. ‘Look Angelo, I am happy with Brax, you’re happy with Lilly’ ‘I know I am happy, she makes me smile, every time we kiss’ ‘And what I didn’t’ Charlie bellowed. ‘Well you called me a loser and said that I never deserved you’. ‘Angelo I didn’t mean it like that, and it didn’t mean you had to sleep with me sister’ ‘Charlie Stop’ Angelo shook his head at Charlie. ‘I’ll go babe’ Lilly said kissing Angelo. ‘See ya, tonight’ ‘Bye’ Lilly smiled ‘You are sleeping together’ Charlie said covering her mouth in shock. ‘Why do you care?’ ‘Why do you care about me sleeping with Brax?’ ‘Because you’re my ex and best friend’ ‘Ex and Ex best friend’ Angelo huffed and sat down on his chair. ‘What did you do to this?’ He demanded. ‘Gave it exactly what you deserve’ Charlie smiled. ‘And what was that?’ ‘Ruining your life and your work chair’ ‘You know, I can easily get a new one’ ‘We’ll ruin that one then’ ‘You wont touch it, cause your getting out of this office’ Charlie stood in shock; she didn’t know what to say, she moaned a little before leaving her office. Angelo got onto his computer and researched Darryl Braxton, one caught his eye, and it read. Darryl Braxton caught over major drug deal, dealing to teenagers and keeping a prohibited product in person’s house. ** Next time: -Angelo and Lilly grow stronger -Xavier and Ruby have a fall out -Angelo reveals Brax’s past to Charlie Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
