Deano Posted May 9, 2011 Report Share Posted May 9, 2011 Thank you everyone and so sorry its short and cuts to the point Chapter nine: Charlie sat in Brax’s ute, not saying a word, it was very awkward for her, they pulled into the police station. ‘Thank you again for the lift’ Charlie smiled. ‘No worries’ ‘So I’ll see you tonight’ Charlie giggled. ‘Yeah, and what’s so funny?’ Brax asked confused. ‘Everyone says you’re a bad boy’ ‘I’m not that bad’ ‘Well we’ll have to see where tonight goes’ Charlie laughed. ‘Ok, bye’ Brax said driving away. Charlie walked into the police station with a big smile on her face. ‘Hey what happened between you and Angelo earlier?’ A fellow officer asked. ‘Nothing, why?’ ‘Because he stormed in here and slammed his door shut’ ‘It’s just Angelo being Angelo’ Charlie retorted, before gaining her breath to face Angelo. ‘Hey’ Charlie smiled. ‘Hi’ Angelo said with anger in his voice. ‘What happened before, forget it please’ ‘Why, you know his bad and I am here to investigate him’ ‘Well if him and I go on a date, I can get info for you’ ‘Really?’ Angelo smiled. ‘Yeah I can, so you gonna play nice?’ Charlie asked. ‘Sure will’ Angelo laughed walking away In school Xavier and Ruby were struggling not touching each other in physical education, they had been separated all day. ‘So can I come over tonight?’ Xavier asked. ‘Yeah, Charlie has the late shift, so you can sneak in and sneak out’ ‘I don’t like sneaking though’ Xavier complained. ‘Well get used to it’ ‘But’ ‘No buts Xavier’ Later that day: Tom sat in daycare wondering when Angelo was coming to pick him up, he shot his head up when the door opened, and it wasn’t Angelo. ‘Daddy’ Tom started to cry. Angelo walked into the daycare, ‘Tom, mate come here’ ‘Daddy’ Tom screamed running towards him. ‘You want to go home’ ‘Please’ ‘Hey what’s wrong?’ ‘The kids laugh at me’ ‘That’s not nice, look we’ll go home and maybe get dinner is well’ ‘I love you daddy’ ‘I love you too mate’ Angelo drove Tom home, made him some dinner, bathed him and put him into bed, by 6.30. Charlie was dressed in her favourite dress, the dress her and Angelo first got to know each other better in. She smiled at herself in the mirror, before adding the final touches to her makeup. She grabbed her bag and got in her car and drove to Brax’s. ‘Hey you look, wow’ Brax said opening her door. ‘Am I really that pretty?’ Charlie asked. ‘Um yeah’ ‘So where we going, I am hungry’ Charlie smiled. ‘Anywhere you want’ ‘Ok, seafood’ ‘Seafood?’ ‘Yeah Brax seafood’ ‘Ok, the new shop in town sounds great’ Charlie got into Brax’s ute and they drove off towards town. ‘Quick Xav’ Ruby said ‘I’m coming’ Xavier said standing over the garden stake. ‘Hurry up’ Ruby complained. ‘Uh not really’ Xavier said pointing to his ripped pants. ‘Did the garden stake do that?’ Ruby asked. ‘Yeah’ Ruby cheekily smiled, 'I love you' 'I love you too' Xavier smiled --------------------------------- Next time: Charlie and Brax's date, will is be successful? Love how you bring in Brax as a new character but you still do the whole changelo thing. And Tom sounds so cute I'm a changelo fan but I enjoying the changelo/brax stuff, so well done! 'So was this romantic enough?' Brax asked. 'Yeah it's fine' 'You just don't seem happy' 'I am fine, just getting over Nick is so hard' 'Why what did he do that was so bad?' Brax asked with some concern. 'He just abused me and hurt me' 'Well that's illegal' 'Yeah when he really hurt me, I was lucky Angelo was there' Charlie smiled. 'What is the deal with you too anyway?' 'We go back' 'How far back?' Brax asked. 'You know you ask so much questions' 'I am a bloke on a date with the hottest chick ever' 'Angelo always used to say that' Charlie smiled. 'What that you were hot?' 'Yes and I was sexy to him too, so I was his good luck charm' 'For what?' 'Everywhere I went with him, he always cracked a case if we worked together, than he got promoted and moved on' 'And you broke up?' 'Yes, hey can we not talk about Angelo or work please' Charlie questioned. 'Sure, well lets order' Brax smiled. A young waiter walked up to their table 'Hey what would you like to order' The young boy asked. 'I would love your Aussie Roast please' Brax smiled. 'Yeah, me too please' Charlie smiled. 'So two Aussie Roasts?' The boy asked. 'Yes, thank you' 'Any drinks?' The boy asked again. 'Yeah one white wine for the lady and a beer for me' 20 MINUTES LATER: The boy brought out their food. 'So two Aussie Roasts, hope you enjoy' He smiled 'Thank you' Brax smiled giving the boy a $10 tip. Charlie and Brax ate their dinner in silence and after they finished they payed for their meals and went for a walk. 'It's really nice out here tonight' Charlie smiled at Brax. 'Yeah it is, here you must be cold' Brax said taking his jacket off and wrapping Charlie in it. 'You are so generous' Charlie smiled. 'I know' He laughed. 'Haha your so funny' Charlie said hitting him on the arm. 'Am I?' Brax asked. Brax turned and faced Charlie, he bent his head down to her level. 'What do you want?' Charlie asked. 'What do you think' 'I have no idea' 'A kiss' 'Oh' Charlie blushed. Brax placed his lips on Charlie's causing her to retaliate, they began to hold each other in an embrace, passion was running high, Charlie and Brax continued to kiss, something broke them apart. 'Get off her' Nick said running down the beach. 'Run' Charlie whispered to Brax. ------------ Sorry its short. Is Brax going to land himself in trouble? And will Angelo drink himself to the ground?
