Dan F Posted July 5, 2009 Report Posted July 5, 2009 Please see the article on the main site here I must admit I was somewhat surprised at the choice of episode, when taking into consideration some of the others from earlier in 2008.
Louise_2983 Posted July 5, 2009 Report Posted July 5, 2009 I don't even really remember that episode! When we had amazing episodes such as Aden holding Larry hostage, I'm surprised by their choice too!
halcyon06 Posted July 5, 2009 Report Posted July 5, 2009 Seriously!? That episode was rather boring imo. What Neighbours episodes were nominated?
Dan F Posted July 5, 2009 Report Posted July 5, 2009 The Neighbours eps were 5486 and 5474 - which mean nothing to me as I don't watch it. The Out of the Blue ep nominated, episode 4, was written by Sam Meikle - who won AWGIE's for H&A in 2006 and 2007.....
Ryan Posted July 5, 2009 Report Posted July 5, 2009 One was the bush fires, the other I can't work out the significance.
Eli Posted July 12, 2009 Report Posted July 12, 2009 They thought that was the best written episode in 2008? What about episodes such as the one where Miles revealed the truth about himself? What about some of the episodes featuring Cassie dealing with HIV? Not to mention what about some of the episodes featuring Aden, his past and his relationship with Larry? To me, the episode they've picked was just another episode. Not a particularly bad one, but not a particularly good one either, just another episode.
