PINK Posted December 13, 2007 Report Share Posted December 13, 2007 i HOPE YOU ENJOY!!!! “It arrived” Jack said happily as he bounded through the door. It had been five weeks since they had received the threatening letter and they had began to think it was just some kids looking for kick and had gotten board as they had had no sign of the person/persons that had sent them the disturbing notes. “What?” Martha asked as she turned around in the kitchen, “The divorce papers” Jack announced proudly as he dropped down the rest of the letters as he began to undo the large envelope from the solicitors. “Jack” Martha said through terror as he began reading the letter, “What?” Jack asked looking confused, “Look” Martha said pointing to another letter that was on top of the pile on the bench. On the front of the envelope it had with letters from the magazine making out the words. Thought I was gone? Think again….. “Oh my God” Martha exclaimed bringing her hand to her mouth in horror. “It wasn’t a hoax” Jack said as he picked up the letter carefully, “There is someone out to get us” Jack said as he made his way to the phone. “Who are you ringing?” Martha asked him. “Peter” Jack announced as he began to dial. “So you’re saying that this all started five weeks ago” Peter confirmed. “Yeah” Jack said “But then it all stopped”, “And this is the first thing you have received since the brick?” Peter asked, “Yep” Jack said, “Who’s doing this?” Martha asked Jack from beside him, “I don’t know” Jack said honestly, “But we’ll find out” Peter cut in, “Thankyou” Martha said looking at Peter. “Ok well I better be going” Peter said standing up, “Yeah, thanks mate” Jack said shaking Peters hand, “No problem and hey we’ll catch em” he said, “Yeah, ok seeya” Jack said as Peter reached the door. “Seeya” Peter said as he left shutting the door behind him. Later that day Martha sat on the couch with her knees tucked up under her chin as she waited for Jack to come back from the shops. She was jumping at every sound and it was really starting to annoy her. She almost jumped out of her skin as she screamed at the sound of the door opening. “Ahhhhhhhhh” Martha screamed before breaking down in tears when she realised it was Jack, “Hey” Jack said as he placed the shopping on the ground and quickly making his way over to the couch to soothe her. “I’m so scared Jack” Martha cried into his shoulder “Someone’s out to get us” Martha said “I know but they won’t succeed, Martha we are going to stick together and this sicko is going to get caught” Jack tried to convince her, “Mmm” Martha muttered looking down, “Martha look at me” Jack said as she lifted her head reluctantly to look at him “Do you trust me?” Jack asked her, “Of course I do” Martha confirmed, “Then believe me when I say, I will never let anything hurt you or the baby, ever” he said looking at her, “Thankyou” Martha said falling into his arms, “I love you”…..
