Today is a very sad day indeed:

'Postman Pat' to leave Greendale

Tuesday, July 3 2007, 15:32 BST

By Daniel Kilkelly

Postman Pat writers have revealed that they are planning major changes for the next series.

The kids' TV legend will leave Greendale village and move to a big town in Postman Pat: Special Delivery Service, which starts on BBC Two next year. Producers have said that Pat will be involved in "highly-charged storylines" and may even ditch his famous red van.

A spokesperson for makers Entertainment Rights told The Sun: "We are taking the much-loved characters into a dynamic new environment."

That is just b*ll$***!!! (I aplologise for that)

How can they do such a thing?!?!? Why would they want to do such a thing?!?!?!

Postman Pat has been fine the way it has been for ages...why go change something that does not need to be changed???

They might as well have created something new!!!

What reasonable explanation could there possibly be for bringing about these changes???

It's madness I tell ya...madness!!!

The Trapdoor, was a children's claymation show.

Some of the main characters were:

Berk, the over working servant of the thing downstairs

Drutt, the spider

Boni, the skull

Rogg, one of the friendlier things downstairs

Does anyone reconise the theme song??

Somewhere in the dark and nasty regions, where nobody goes, stands an ancient castle. Deep within this dank and uninviting place lives berk [Hello!], overworked servant of the thing upstairs [berk! Feed Me!]. But that's nothing compared to the horrors that lurk beneath the trapdoor, for there is always something down there, in the dark, waiting to come out......

Don't you open that trapdoor!! You're a fool if you dare!! Stay away from that trapdoor!! 'Cause there's something down there....
