Amanda is nothing more than a soap cliche. She has none of the complexities and subtleties of a good soap bitch...like Angie for example...and as such she does not have anything which can endear her to us. I don't hate her and I don't even love to hate her......she just bores me rigid. They must think the viewers ae stupid if they think that we are going to love her the way we loved Angie. The sooner she goes the better....... they are giving her far too many storylines and its getting beyond stupid....... I would agree with that up to a point...but they would need a much better actress to make it work as I suspect they intended it to work...and they do need to improve some of the writing...it makes me cring too....UK viewers have not had her for long so the boredom has not set in...but I reckon it wil.
