The Cure Posted January 4, 2006 Report Share Posted January 4, 2006 My favourite band of all time is the Cure (surprise, surprise). They are simply phonemenal. They write the most heartfelt, beautiful lyrics you wil ever hear, backed up by a totally unique and ever-evolving sound. But my favourite band of the moment is Interpol. They are an excellent, very poetic, different kind of band. They are also not too popular, doubling their cool-ness in my book. They come highly recommended. Give 'em a whirl. You may be pleasantly surprised.... I also adore the Beatles, the Kinks, the Beach Boys, Bob Dylan, Neil Young, the Smiths, Paul Simon, the Clash, Arcade fire......and many, many more. I'm a true grunge fan, but there isn't too much of it around anymore, it's just the older bands.
