Jeez.. Last time a family named the Fowlers did my head in it was on a TV show in the Northern Hempisphere! Don't like Mac much these days but glad she pulled rank as Abby was getting too lippy. Show her a boot, too, Levi or no Levi!

Old saying goes; Grief outlasts Sympathy

Yup, I heard that Colleen mention. Maybe Alf should visit her one day in Vegas! "Strewth, they NEVER turn it off over there!" is what he'd say when he came back.
-
Now I'm thinking Tango ad from 1993 where the Old Lady is about to Pop the Orange Balloon but only explodes herself! (God the 90s were WTF) But Dude I hear ya... Leah's mouth going 30 to the Dozen you're like "Who put a penny in you this morning?!"

Based on what Kirby in Thursday what said, Some characters *really* need to take a vow of silence!
-
We chuck Sons and Daughters, E Street and Prisoner in the mix, it's almost incestuous (Then we sprinkle in some Pugwall and Round Twist with a smidge of Young Doctors)
-
Corny but Sweet moment of the ep: Justin: I'd hug you but I'm covered in Grease. Leah: Since when do *I* care?

Sadly when you have a rep of "Costcutter/7-11 Mouth", it sticks!
-
Yup. Tane even sneezes wrong boom, right down Yabbie Creek Nick.
-
Yeah if we "Irene it up a little" (Hannah and Andy in particular)
-
GFR to a few of them, tbh. Oh and Kyle threw himself on the cross for Isla relatively soon after. 2016 seemed like an "enema" year.

Some people don't get happy afters (Will and Gypsy sure as hell didn't, nor did Alex Poulos and Brodie Hanson and a few others and Frank and Roo collapsed within two years off screen) It is possible for people to have long marriages and be happy (some forum members have folks who've been together Donkey's years) There are some things in soaps and in life where you just have to go "Ah, Eff it. " and roll with it. At least they didn't meet in a Kebab queue and shoot off on a cruise together and pretty much marry within weeks ala Vincent Hubbard and Kim Fox on EastEnders

Tbf, Ric wasn't wrong. Anyhow, Yet it was fine for C5 to use it in their own homegrown soap Family Affairs... That Mark clown who Lilly (for good reason) detested.

His sort generally are.

Bottomline is it was cut. ITV had a chronic habit as the decade came to a Close (and for far far tamer). Channel 5 were a bit more Liberal and the word was used as such concerning Alex Poulos in one drag race. The only time I've seen dialogue muted is on some Coronation Street and Emmerdale repeats. As for bleeping nope.

Good thing too, Neighbours has always been an "easy target" even at its height, that's the last thing they needed! Now I'm thinking of Christian Clark (flop as Will/Sebastian in Neighbours but a hit as Penn in H&A) coming back to ultimately lie face down after Penn washed up on the beach.
-
Elaine Smith (Known to a generation of kids as Daph on Neighbours and had a brief stint in H&A in the mid Zeroes as a Cop's wife) by her own admission found playing Daphne's coma scenes in 1988 reasonably easy (her interview from the 10th anniversary vid) Others when the Director finally yells "Cut!" are like "It's over, TFFT!"
-
Most people who suggest/choose being killing off feel like: A)It'd cement their character's legacy B) Bored, Had Enough and Want Out (Nicola Duffett and Linda Hartley of EE and Neighbours fame, respectively for example) C) Freed up to do other things w/o the temptation of returning D) Think it's the only *realistic* end to their character's arc.
-
That was hacked out by ITV.

Did anyone ever have any *good* flashbacks of that guy?! (I had to get that out)
