Extended Summary

Leah and Justin help Irene take some things to the coffee cart before sitting down to discuss wedding plans. Justin suggests taking Xander up on one of the catering packages. Leah tries to pitch the idea of doing it herself and isn’t keen on moving food. Justin suggests finding somewhere that can do the ceremony, the reception and the catering. Leah thinks Salt would be perfect but Justin thinks it’s out of the question because it’s too small.

At the hotel, Cash is carefully unstitching the teddy bear. Stevie thinks he’s being paranoid and says she gets sent this sort of stuff all the time. She thinks they should get ready for the premiere. Cash protests that she isn’t even in the film. He removes a device from the teddy which he realises is a camera. He quickly shuts everything back in the box and moves it into another room.

Eden shows Remi into the house. Remi isn’t happy she brought him from his parents’ house. Eden says he’d have ridden home otherwise and nearly broke himself getting up there. Remi is also annoyed that Eden told his parents about him and Bree breaking up, since they’d be on her side if they knew why . He also refuses to see Bree, saying he was trying to give them space. He goes to his room.

At the Diner, John complains about Irene not being there to welcome him back, saying he’s been gone a week. He claims to have been better than the others at the course, some of whom didn’t even know what a stat dec was. Irene tells him Leah and Justin have set the date for a month’s time. John is thrown but decides he needs to get qualified before then. He asks Irene if she fancies getting married: He needs to do a mock wedding as part of his qualification. Irene tells him to find another bride and also to put back the apple he’s holding.

Eden texts Cash (whose last message says he’s working late) to say she’s home. Remi appears and announces he’s going to a physio session, having arranged to meet Grant at the surf club. John turns up and announces he needs Cash and Eden to get married, or possibly Remi and Bree. Remi quickly leaves and John explains to Eden that he needs to video it for his celebrant course and it’s not legally binding. Eden still declines, leaving him to see himself out.

Cash puts the box away in a cupboard, while explaining the situation on the phone. He tells Stevie that the agency will take it away for tests. Stevie worries that whoever planted the camera will be able to identify where she is. Cash says it won’t have seen enough since hotel rooms look alike. Stevie gets the itinerary for the premiere through on her phone. Cash doesn’t want her going but Stevie says she’s in no immediate danger and won’t let the creep win.

Eden and Remi are walking by the beach. Eden wonders what’s going on with Remi and why he took the bike when he wasn’t ready. Remi refuses to talk to Bree, saying he knows she was the best thing he had but Eden can’t tell him how to handle it and there’s nothing left to try for. They meet Grant at the surf club, where he notes Remi’s missed a couple of sessions. Eden insists on joining them and Grant asks if they’re waiting for Bree. Eden claims she was called into work.

Cash calls through to Stevie with his concerns, saying there’s a public meet and greet after the premiere that anyone could turn up to. Stevie appears from the bedroom and shows Cash her phone: Someone has posted a photo of the two of them online, with a caption referring to him as her new boyfriend. She hopes his girlfriend doesn’t mind. She points out that the account name contains the number 2346: It is newly created, with only one post, and Stevie’s the only person it’s following. Stevie concludes she can’t go to the premiere, saying whoever it is has won.

At the coffee cart, Leah is unimpressed by an advert saying it’s the perfect estate for an unforgettable experience, wanting something more contained. Justin suggests getting married in a hot air balloon, saying they just need room for two witnesses and a celebrant. They realise that the fact they need a celebrant is the first thing they’re agreed on and decide to contact Tori and Christian for the celebrant they used. Irene cuts in, asking if they’ve spoken to John and explaining about him getting his qualifications to marry them.

At the gym, Grant is directing Remi to do some stretches but Remi wants to move onto the weights, saying Grant said they could do them this week. Grant says that was before Remi missed two sessions. Despite Grant and Eden’s objections, Remi first tries some small weights and then lies down under the bar and starts doing weight presses. Eden watches on in horror with Grant saying he can’t physically restrain him. She tries to talk Remi into stopping but he insists on doing six more…then drops the weight on his chest. Grant and Eden get it off him as he writhes in pain.

Cash tries to tell Stevie they’re going to catch the guy. Stevie reminds him he’s not a cop anymore and wonders if she’ll be afraid for the rest of her life. Cash says she seems strong. Stevie says she has to be: She worked hard to be someone so she wouldn’t have to be scared or dependent again. She tells Cash to go since Omar will be there soon. Since Cash won’t let her use room service, all she has is her decanter. She goes to have a bath. Cash leaves a message for Eden saying he’s not going to make it home again.

Eden gets an alert for the voicemail at the surf club but doesn’t listen to it straightaway, instead going to check on Remi. Alf comes over and both he and Grant try and convince Remi to go to hospital but he refuses. Grant says that if Remi won’t listen to him then he quits. Remi asks Eden to get him home and Alf offers to drive them.

Eden helps Remi to his room. She suggests calling a doctor but Remi thinks it will end with him being sent to hospital and seeing Bree. He says he just needs to sleep. Later, Eden checks in on him to find him in pain. Remi gets her to promise not to call Bree or take him to hospital. Eden leaves and ends up calling Levi, leaving him a message saying she needs help with Remi again.

Justin and Leah turn up at the Diner, privately complaining about John’s actions. John cheerily greets them, saying he knows Irene’s let the cat out of the bag. Irene chimes in that they need to know. John thinks it’s a cool wedding gift and says he’ll bring nothing but love and spectacle to their big day and is as much a part of it as they are. He starts asking them what they have in mind, barely giving them a chance to talk. Back home, Justin and Leah express bewilderment at what happened. After confirming that neither of them actually want John to do the service, they wonder who’s going to tell him.

Next morning, Eden speaks to Cash on the phone, saying she understands why he had to stay and hopes Levi will call her back. Remi wanders through to get his painkillers but still refuses to go to hospital, even when Eden points out Bree might not even be working. She ends up calling Imogen and starts to ask where Levi is but it quickly becomes clear Imogen thinks Levi is there. Eden plays along with it, saying she was just calling to arrange to go to another gig.
