Extended Summary

Colby asks Bella what’s for dinner. Bella suggests chicken and pasta, and Colby reminds her she’s doing the cooking, as part of him not being a control freak. Bella says it’s toasted sambos in that case. Tori turns up looking to speak to Colby. Sensing she’s in the way, Bella suggests getting a pizza. Colby gives her his wallet and Bella says cooking’s fun. Tori tells Colby she’s worried about Jasmine.

At the Palmer house, Marilyn worries to Irene about how things are going to work now, since she can’t leave John in the house on his own but neither of them want to be there. She worries that John might never get better. Irene suggests that John having an independent carer might lead to a shift and her old feelings might reappear.

Ryder greets Nikau at Salt and offers him a beer on him: He doesn’t think Mackenzie would mind, given the amount of time she spends at his. Nikau says not as much now: Ari’s working overtime to play the rent and Tane’s AWOL. Bella turns up and is filled in, as Ryder realises Nikau’s been home alone. Bella offers to split a pizza with him. Meanwhile, Tori is telling Colby everything that’s happened. She knows it’s hard because he’s Jasmine’s friend but Colby admits he’s been worried too. Tori doesn’t want an AVO so Colby offers to talk to Jasmine about the photos as a friend.

Nikau thanks Bella for dinner and she says someone has to feed him. They talk about Gemma continuing to do the rounds with the ashes. Nikau thinks Tane might want space from Ari or he might be doing something to come up with rent money. Ryder comes over with the pizzas. Bella gets a text from Colby summoning her home and tells Nikau it was nice to see him. Ryder jokingly calls after her that it was nice to see her too before noting they seem to be getting on well. Meanwhile, Tori turns up at the Diner and asks Irene for a takeaway. She asks Irene to keep an eye on Jasmine, but doesn’t go into details except saying she’s all right.

At the gym, Jasmine insists to Willow that Tori’s being unreasonable, saying it’s right to have Robbo’s baby advertising his gym and Tori’s trying to make her out to be the bad guy. Willow thinks she should take the photos down but Jasmine refuses, saying Tori’s feelings aren’t more important than everyone else’s and she doesn’t have everything her own way.

Next morning, Nikau meets up with Ryder and Bella near the Diner. Ryder thanks him for taking up the slack while Alf’s away and says to get the key from the Diner. Nikau tries to get Ryder to go, saying they know him better, but Ryder heads off for a surf. Nikau explains to Bella that everyone still thinks his family robbed the Diner. Bella says only Colby thinks that and drags him off.

Bella drags Nikau to the counter, reminding him they need the rent money. Marilyn cheerily chats to him and asks about Gemma, handing the key over without comment when Bella asks for it. A bemused Nikau says he’d better open up. At the gym, Jasmine tells Willow about the number of people that have signed up for the classes. Willow doesn’t think that’ll make a difference to Tori. Colby turns up asking to talk. Jasmine tries to get out of it, saying she’s busy, but Willow says she’s on her way to a class so Jasmine gives in.

Justin arrives home to find Tori up. He notes he heard her rattling about during the night. Tori is worried about Colby talking to Jasmine. Justin suggests she get Grace and they go out for a walk, even offering to pay in order to convince her. Meanwhile, Colby and Jasmine walk near the beach. Colby says Tori told him about the photos. Before he can say much, Jasmine starts ranting about how Tori is trying to take Grace away from her and she can take care of her better. She asks who goes to the police about photos. Colby reminds her she wanted him to arrest Tori but Jasmine walks away.

Colby follows Jasmine back to the surf club, saying she’s going to get her stuff and confront Tori. Willow tells her to wait with Colby while she gets her stuff. Justin, Tori and Grace arrive at that moment. Jasmine tries to push past Colby to get to them while Justin tries to get Tori to take Grace and leave. Jasmine gets increasingly aggressive and ends up scratching Colby’s face when he blocks her. There is a long stunned silence before Jasmine leaves. Soon after, Willow is patching up Colby in the gym. Colby wonders how they missed the signs that Jasmine was this bad. Willow admits she did see signs and shows him the forum. Colby calls it bad.

Justin tries to reassure Tori, who worries about what Jasmine would have done if he and Colby weren’t there and says she didn’t realise Jasmine was this unwell. Meanwhile, Jasmine arrives at the Diner in a distressed state. Irene and Marilyn sit her down as she says she didn’t mean it, confusing them. Jasmine rummages in her bag and takes out the bag of Grace’s things. Marilyn recognises Grace’s missing toy and sock. Irene asks Jasmine why she has them.

Ryder meets up with Bella on the beach and notes she and Nikau seem close now. Bella asks about Evan, before Ryder says that he’s just glad she and Nikau are getting on. Nikau runs up and Ryder quickly makes himself scarce. Later, Nikau thanks Bella for helping him out. Bella asks about the rest of his day. Nikau says he thinks things are going to be fine. Bella says he seems more together. Nikau struggles to tell her something until Bella simply kisses him and says her too.

Justin and Tori meet Colby and Willow at Salt. Colby shows her the forum. They are both aghast that Jasmine has not only been badmouthing her but pretending that she’s Grace’s mum. A short time later, Tori and Colby arrive at the Diner with Grace. Jasmine is sat nearby. Irene has summoned them and gives Tori Grace’s things. Tori asks her to keep an eye on Grace while she and Colby go over to Jasmine. Jasmine starts stammering an apology but Tori tells her she knows about the forum and wants her to stay away from her and her daughter or she’ll go to the police.
