Extended Summary

Colby is waiting on the beach. Jasmine sees him and braces herself a bit before approaching. Colby notes he wasn’t sure if she’d turn up. Jasmine observes that this is something of a turnaround from him. Colby says he was hoping they could talk it over. At the Morgan house, Leah appears in what Justin realises is a new dress. He notes she looks so good he doesn’t want to go out but thoughts on that subject are halted when Tori arrives back with Grace. She notes Marilyn said Grace was unsettled all day, then realises they’re dressed up for a date. They offer to stay but Tori insists they go out, saying she and Grace will probably both sleep.

At the Diner, Irene has just finished serving Maggie when Ben comes in. He and Maggie make polite and awkward chit-chat and Maggie notes Ziggy wanted to stay with Dean, which Ben picked up on and she didn’t. Out on the beach, Colby asks Jasmine why she thinks they kissed. Jasmine attributes it to alcohol but Colby points out she didn’t kiss Dean. Jasmine replies that Colby was safe and familiar and unattached. Colby says he heard she wasn’t handling things well. Jasmine wonders who he’s been talking to and realises it was Willow.

Tori tries and fails to settle Grace and realises she’s got a tooth coming through. She decides to take her for a walk. At Salt, Leah and Justin have finished eating and discuss the fact that Tori seems to think she has to do everything on her own. Leah suggests Justin could go back but Justin says Tori would kill him. Leah notes Tori has a lot of support and they just need to wait for her to realise that. They decide to go for a walk on the beach.

Jasmine comes storming into the surf club and accuses Willow of gossiping about her. Willow says they were just worried about her. Jasmine tells Willow to think of her own life, mocking her relationship disasters. Leah and Justin come downstairs during the rant and Colby also comes in. Willow warns Jasmine not to push her and Jasmine tells her to stay the hell away from her, storming out. Colby follows and tries to tell her that Willow was just looking out for her. Jasmine refuses to listen however and says people need to stop talking about her.

Inside, Leah and Justin try to reassure Willow that she didn’t do anything wrong. Willow thinks she should have stayed calm but Justin says Jasmine was pushing her buttons. Colby comes back in and admits the talk didn’t go well. Meanwhile, Maggie and Ben run into each other outside the Diner. Maggie tries to walk on but Ben asks if there are any jobs she needs help with around the house, suggesting he could come over and mow the lawn. Maggie says she can do that herself and thinks they should stick to separate sides of the Bay from now on. Ben says Alf asked for his help and he can’t just not turn up, which Maggie accepts.

Inside the Diner, Alf is having a catch-up with Tori and realises Grace is teething, recalling when Roo was at that age. He says Robbo would be impressed with her. Tori leaves and Irene gives Alf the coffees for him and Ben. Alf asks how Jasmine’s doing and Irene admits she’s not good. At that moment, Jasmine has a run on the beach before stopping, exhausted.

Tori is slowly sneaking away from Grace’s room, baby monitor in hand. Although Grace starts crying a couple of times, she soon stops. Just as Tori is about to go into her room, there is a knocking at the door. Tori quickly hurries over, telling them to stop because Grace is asleep, but relents when she sees an upset-looking Jasmine. The two of them sit down for a chat with Jasmine saying she knows people are worrying about her but it feels like she’s being judged. Tori yawns and Jasmine apologises. She initially decides to leave but Tori says if she tries to sleep then Grace will wake up. Jasmine offers to stay and keep an eye on her in case she does and Tori agrees, giving her the baby monitor.

Maggie comes into the surf club and Ben tells her he can’t go anywhere else because he works there. Maggie apologises but says she’s starting to realise what it must have been like for Ziggy when Brody was around. She says she’s taking time off work to go north and see Coco. Ben says to give her his love. Meanwhile, Jasmine has got Grace up. She gets a text from Willow apologising and wanting to talk but ignores it, telling Grace it’s just them.

At Salt, Colby and Willow discuss the fact that Jasmine is ignoring both of them. They note she’s not herself and Colby acknowledges it’s about more than the kiss. Willow doesn’t like the idea of Jasmine being by herself. Meanwhile, Jasmine takes a photo of herself and Grace. Justin and Leah arrive back with Justin clearly nervous to see Jasmine there. He takes Grace off her and calls out to Tori, telling her she needs to get Jasmine out of there. Jasmine leaves.

Shortly afterwards, Justin and Tori disagree over Jasmine. Leah agrees that Jasmine behaved badly at the surf club but also thinks Justin’s treatment of her didn’t help. Tori says Jasmine came there for friendship and that it’s up to her to choose who looks after Grace. Justin thinks Jasmine shouldn’t be near her. Tori goes to put Grace back to bed. Meanwhile, Jasmine goes to her room and takes out a family photo album, which she starts filling with photos of Grace with herself and Robbo.
