Extended Summary

Willow runs into Alex and Jasmine outside the surf club, commenting that she wishes she could clock off at this time, although she retracts it when they point out they’ve just done a night shift. Willow asks about Grace and Jasmine says Robbo’s doing all the heavy lifting before heading off to join them. Alex suggests dinner tonight but Willow is working. Alex offers to come by with a takeaway. Jasmine arrives back at the flat and is surprised to find Irene with Grace. Irene explains Robbo went for a run. Robbo returns and takes Grace off Irene, who leaves. Jasmine offers to help out but Robbo tells her to relax.

Mason arrives home to come across Justin on the phone to Brody. Leah explains about the road trip plan. Justin tells Ava it’s all arranged and invites Mason to come with them but he says he has to work. Justin and Ava go to pack. Leah tells Mason she’s in the same boat as him. Mason jokingly asks how she’ll cope without Justin. At the Diner flat, Robbo and Jasmine are sitting down to dinner. Jasmine asks why Robbo won’t let her near Grace. Robbo tries to deny it and, when Jasmine asks why he leaves her with Irene and not her, says she didn’t give him any choice. Jasmine tries to pursue the issue but Grace starts crying and Robbo goes to check on her.

Willow and Alex are eating in the office at the gym. Alex comments that they’ve had takeaway every night and Willow threatens to inflict her cooking on her at some point. They realise they’re the only ones there and the gym shut half an hour ago. They start kissing and Willow suggests they go back to Alex’s. Alex backs off, saying they’re meant to be taking it slow. Willow suggests she could just stay over but Alex says she’ll call her and see her tomorrow, abruptly leaving. At the Morgan house, Justin makes a mess of packing his clothes, eventually just stuffing everything in a bag. He joins Leah in bed and says he’d better get off to sleep. Leah turns off the light and waits…and Justin changes his mind and kisses her.

During the night, Jasmine finds Robbo with Grace on the balcony. She asks what he’s doing out here and he says he didn’t want to disturb her or Colby and Bella. Jasmine again tries to ask why he’s keeping Grace away from her but all Robbo will say is that he’s trying to do the right thing by everyone. He takes a phone call from Lance about his statement. Jasmine goes back to bed. Next morning, John and Marilyn have breakfast at the Diner before he goes to the surf club. Leah comes in; Marilyn is surprised, since she isn’t meant to be working, and Leah explains she’s getting supplies for Justin and Ava going to see Brody and Raffy. Marilyn asks why no-one told her, since she could have sent a present for Raffy (she’s planning to get her a four-leaf clover necklace as a good luck charm). Leah says it was only decided yesterday.

Willow is at the gym and leaves a phone message from Alex wondering why she hasn’t called. Jasmine comes in and asks if she fancies going for a walk, saying she needs to vent. Willow empathises. She receives a call from Alex but rejects it. Soon after, as they walk outside, Jasmine tries to talk about Robbo but can tell Willow isn’t listening. Willow admits she’s sort of seeing someone and that the kiss with Alex led to more. She asks Jasmine not to say anything, since only she and Irene know. Jasmine asks if she’s been with a woman before. Willow says they’ve only kissed and that Alex seems confused. Jasmine advises talking to her.

Ava says goodbye to Buddy and Mason outside the house. They find Leah and Justin having a hug goodbye and Justin and Ava drive off. Mason checks Leah’s okay before going to work. Leah heads to the Diner and meets Irene and Marilyn. She admits to Irene that she’s missing Justin already. She says that after Zac she promised she wouldn’t fall for anyone else but she thinks she’s in love with him.

Later, Marilyn is serving Robbo at the Diner: He is hoping Grace will stay quiet long enough for him to have a coffee. Jasmine arrives and insists they need to talk. The pair head upstairs, leaving Irene and Marilyn looking worried. Jasmine again asks why Robbo won’t trust her with Grace, asking if he intends the family to always be him looking after Grace and her pushed aside. She points out Tori might not recover and they could be looking after Grace long-term. Robbo eventually reminds her that she said she didn’t want children. After he returns from putting Grace down, Jasmine agrees she did say that but things have changed since then. Robbo is not convinced she feels differently.

Willow goes to the hospital and tells Mason she needs to see his boss. Mason says they’re busy but Alex appears. Willow insists they need to talk and convinces Alex to give her a few minutes. They head into the office where Willow wonders why Alex has backed off. Alex says Willow has gone from wanting nothing to wanting to go to bed. Willow says Alex was meant to be guiding her. Alex says she could get hurt as well and doesn’t want to be Willow’s experiment. She heads back to work.
