Extended Summary

Colby, Dean, Willow and Bella are eating together at Salt, with the others teasing Colby about the time he asked Julie Barnes out. Chelsea joins them, having just got back to town, and asks about the wedding preparations. Dean jokes that they’ve booked a combined stripper/celebrant. Willow tells her that she’s staying the night at Irene’s and the dress is already there. Chelsea accompanies Colby to the bar, confirms her parents aren’t coming and checks that Dean was joking. Meanwhile, at the Morgan house, Justin reads Mason a note from Tori saying she’s working an extra shift. Mason notes that’s the reason there’s no internships going. Justin finds Ziggy has emptied the fridge again so they decide to go to Salt.

Colby tries to get Chelsea to forget tradition and spend the night with him. Chelsea comments that they don’t even have a lock on the bathroom. Justin and Mason come in and Leah tells the pair about the wedding. Justin goes over the table to give Colby and Chelsea his congratulations and Willow immediately decides to bail, taking Chelsea and Bella with her. They go to the beach house where Irene greets them. It’s noted that since Irene is going to be away she’s letting them have champagne. Chelsea has heard she’s going to a christening and Irene notes that’s because she’s free to go where she wants. Chelsea and Bella quiz Willow, asking her if she’s still with Justin and why she isn’t with Dean. Willow simply says it’s complicated.

Justin and Mason are on the balcony at Salt. Mason asks Justin about Willow; Justin says he’s giving her some space but is ready if she gives the word. Mason notes that it’s the same with him and medicine and that he’s decided to wait a year and then reassess. Meanwhile, Robbo and Jasmine are in bed together at the Diner flat with Jasmine commenting on the minimalist look of his room and suggesting a cactus. Dean and Colby arrive back and put loud music on. Robbo and Jasmine get dressed and emerge with Jasmine heading for the beach house and Robbo joining the others for a beer. Dean asks Colby if he’s nervous and he says you’re not when you find the right girl.

Jasmine joins Willow, Bella and Chelsea. They quiz Willow about Justin. Willow notes Dean tried to get her to put him out of his misery. She says that she thought Justin was the one but maybe she’s not meant to settle down, commenting on how Jasmine and Chelsea seem to have found good ones. Chelsea gets a text from Colby saying “Stuff tradition, one more kiss from my future wife?” Chelsea meets Colby for a kiss on the flat balcony but bails after a quick chat in which she tells him to have water before going to bed.

In her room, Jasmine rings Robbo to say good night and tells him she feels lucky to have found him and loves him. Robbo tells her good night, then takes out the box with the engagement ring in. Next morning, Ross watches from the beach as Colby surfs in the distance. As Colby comes up from the beach, Ross looks somewhat upset.

Colby heads back to the flat where Dean is still asleep on the sofa. He wakes him up as Robbo emerges and Dean quickly helps himself to another beer, calling it a hangover cure. Robbo does a quick rundown of what Colby needs. Down in the Diner, Leah serves Willow and Bella. Colby and Dean arrive and Dean comments on Willow making a fast exit when Justin turned up. Willow retorts that she’s making an even faster one now. Colby quizzes Bella, who explains about Dean telling Willow to make a decision over Justin.

Jasmine encounters a stressed out Chelsea who worries she’s overslept. Willow and Bella arrive back but Willow instantly says she has to go out again. Chelsea worries something has gone wrong, coming up with a scenario where the boys forgot to get their suits and are turning up in board shorts and realising she let Dean plan her wedding. Jasmine manages to calm her down. Bella comments that Jasmine’s good at it and Jasmine replies that if she was the bride she’d be vomitting. She goes to collect Robbo from the Diner flat: He goes to his room to get the ring before leaving. Colby questions Dean about his advice to Willow over Justin, realising he thinks he’ll be in with a shot if they split up.

Justin meets Willow at Salt. She called saying she needed to talk but seems reluctant to speak. Justin realises she’s there to say it’s over. Willow says she’s got her feet on the ground again and doesn’t want to go back. Justin says he’s been happier while they’ve been apart. They go their separate ways. Once home however, Justin’s mood soon changes as he rants about there being no juice. Mason says he’ll walk Buddy and get some. Leah has arrived to overhear things. Justin explains he broke up with Willow. Leah says she was looking for Tori and Justin suggests she wait.

Bella is looking uncertainly at the blusher. Chelsea enters, suggesting it’s not really Bella, and checks she’s fine with the dress, offering to help her and asking if something’s wrong. Bella says she’s thinking about Ross and the investigation. Chelsea says he’ll be found soon and it’ll be over. Willow returns but doesn’t say where she’s been. Meanwhile, Dean and Colby are showing Robbo and Jasmine round the venue. They anticipate Chelsea being late but then realise she could be really early as Willow and Bella appear followed by Chelsea in her wedding dress. Colby and Chelsea compliment each other on their appearance before Chelsea says “Let’s do this.”
