Extended Summary

Ash comes out of the surf to see Brody running along the beach, as they talk Tori interrupts having come down to meet Brody for a juice. Over juice they talk about Ash being heart broken and about what Tori’s next move will be. Tori asks Brody if he has heard from Ziggy which he hasn’t and mentions that she has been away with her dad. Justin is trying to help Ash to create a budget and offers Tori’s help. She tries to get out of it but isn’t able to, clearly not wanting anyone to read into her helping Ash. Finally she agrees. Ash questions her behaviour and she tells him that she is worried people will think she is moving in on Ash which he tells her is ridiculous. At the diner, Irene can see that Ash is clearly in a financial bind and offers for him and Luc to move in with her until he gets back on his feet. Ash while grateful declines the offer, as he goes to leave he sees Tori and tells her that he doesn’t care what people think. When Ash asks if she still has a thing for him she denies it and joins Ash for dinner. Justin joins them for diner and tells them the news about Scarlett as they laugh Ben walks past and throws a dirty look over his shoulder towards them. Justin is confused until Tori fills him and then angry goes over to talk to him. Justin tells him that Ben is out of chances and next time he approaches Brody he will have him to deal with, Ben however doesn’t back down. Tori jumps in saying that Brody is trying to fix the mistakes he has made and Ben tells them to put him on a leash causing Alf to break it up before Justin and Ben get into a fight.

Ben and Ziggy have returned from the city, Ziggy is still on edge. While picking up dinner from the diner, Ben mentions to Irene that Ziggy is ok and will remain so as long as Brody stays aware from her. On his way out he sees Ash and tells him he is behind in his rent and needs to pay. He also runs into Leah who tries to talk to him about the heritage listing but Ben says he is in a rush, refusing to talk about it. At home Ziggy is clearly struggling, though Ben does his best to try to distract her. Ben goes to get some wax and leaves Ziggy outside who starts to have a panic attach when two surfers pass her and their laughter reminds her of Zannis. Scarlett sees and comes over to help and manages to calm her down. Once she is calm Scarlett asks if she can tell her what happened. As she explains to her, Brody walks out and tries to approach her but her and she asks Scarlett to make him leave. Before she can, Ben walks out and pushes Brody away. Ziggy gets into a fight with Ben, about Brody about her panic attack saying it had nothing to do with Brody. She finally tells him that she isn’t fine and has been scared to go out as she keeps thinking that the people who kidnapped her will come back. Tori checks Ziggy out and tells her that he flashbacks will keep coming and tells her she recommends counselling. Ziggy asks if Brody sent her and Tori says yes, eliciting a small smile from Ziggy who then agrees to go to an appointment. As she leaves she sees Ben and tells him that this was Brody’s idea and that maybe he should cut him some slack. Ziggy tells Ben that she is going for a drive to clear her mind and goes to meet Brody, whom she has messaged after Tori left. She thanks him for sending Tori and opens up to him saying he is the only person who understands what she went through. She asks if he can hang for a bit. Later at the diner Alf and Leah again try to talk to Ben about the heritage listing but again Ben refuses to talk about it. While hanging out, Brody tells Ziggy he wishes they met before everything happened. She tells him she likes him how he is now and leans in to kiss him which Brody returns.

Scarlett and Brody call Tori and tell her what happened with Ben and Ziggy. They tell her that Ziggy needs help and ask if she can. As they leave the diner they run into Justin who gets annoyed that she won’t talk to him. Scarlett then tells Brody that he wanted more and she said no and is shocked when Brody is surprised by his behaviour and tells her that it’s a big deal. She tells him that she wants to be with Justin as long as he wants to be with her and Brody offers her to act fast as she may have missed her opportunity. Scarlett finds Justin and tells him not to leave her alone and that she wants to be together with him. She tells him that if he’s in then so is she. Justin confirms he’s in and asks if he can take her out tomorrow and a date is set!
