Extended Summary
Ricky is furious at Ash for hiding the money at Angelo’s, as it looks likely that Brax will be convicted for a murder he didn’t commit. But Brax defends Ash, telling Ricky it was his decision to bring the money back. When a warrant is issued for Ash’s arrest as an accessory to the murder, Brax confesses to protect Ash, and is sentenced to 20 years in prison without parole.
Hannah tries to stand up alone and falls out of her chair. Denny tries to help her up, but she can’t lift her, and calls Nate for help. Nate tells Denny he thinks Hannah needs more help than she can provide. He offers Hannah a bed in the hospital, but she refuses. Denny tells Andy that Hannah still needs him, and asks him to come back, but he tells her he has to respect Hannah’s wishes. After some reflection, Andy decides he needs to fight for their relationship, and goes around to see her. She ignores him, but he refuses to leave until they talk. Will Hannah give Andy another chance?
Oscar is unsure of how to deal with Maddy and her illness. When she complains she’s sick of being treated like a patient, he organises a romantic dinner to help make her feel better. But just as they’re about to have a goodnight kiss, her nose starts bleeding, and Oscar feels responsible – Maddy is pushing herself too much. But she tells him she’s just trying to live life to the fullest given she’s uncertain of how long she has to live.
