Extended Summary

Aden can’t believe the trawler is sunk – he’s out of a job and there’s a risk he won’t be able to pay for Belle’s ring. Aden tells Gibbsy his troubles, and Gibbsy says if he ever needs a loan he knows someone who could help him. The loan shark, Clint, visits Aden and says he’s happy to lend him money if he needs him – he charges a 20% interest rate but says there’s no fees for an early repayment. Aden says no thanks, but Clint gives him his card anyway – we get the feeling we may be seeing him again….

Angelo thinks the boat was sunk deliberately and when he breaks the news to Irene, she is convinced Donna is behind it. Angelo goes to Donna’s house to question her and she gives an alibi for the night the trawler was sunk – she was staying at a friend’s house. Angelo remarks that its rather convenient and it’s clear he still suspects her. He does some more digging and cross examines Donna again, pointing out no-one saw her at the yacht club on the night Lou died, where she said she’d been, and that she actually hired a boat over those 2 days. She admits she went out on the water to confront him and Irene but denies killing Lou. Angelo reveals to Donna that he has a search warrant for her house. Once there they discover a handgun hidden in the guesthouse and Angelo arrests Donna. When they arrive at the police station she bumps into Irene, and accuses her of planting the gun. Angelo tells Irene that she can be confident that he’ll be charging Donna with Lou’s murder.

Xavier and Jai tell Ruby about the sex tape and she can’t believe they gave the media card back to Trey. She that insists that Nicole be informed, and if they don’t get Trey to tell her, Ruby will do it herself. Jai hassles Trey to tell Nicole but he refuses. Ruby ends up telling Nicole about the sex tape and Nicole feels sick. She confronts Trey about the tape at the Film Festival who denies that he did it on purpose. Nicole asks if he was going to show it to his mates. He admits that the thought did cross his mind and she slaps him, then runs off, upset. Geoff sees this and comforts Nicole. They are seen by Trey who becomes jealous, and later shows his true colours. Trey is further enraged when his mates tease him about Nicole being with Geoff.

Later that evening, Colleen introduces the first film to everyone’s anticipation. It turns out to be the sex tape, put there by Trey to embarrass Nicole. Colleen doesn’t know where to look and Jai rushes to switch the projector off – but its too late. Vision of Trey and Nicole having sex has been seen by half of Summer Bay.
