McGrath decides to question Tony in relation to the attack on Julie. Tony’s strangely evasive behaviour makes McGrath suspicious – what is Tony hiding? McGrath presses Tony over his whereabouts at the time of the attack, forcing him reveal he spent the night with Jazz. When Drew learns of this, he bridles at his mother, worried she’s going to break Tony’s heart. To placate her son, Jazz gives him the impression her night with Tony was more than just a one-night-stand.
Whilst investigating the area that Rachel’s car was parked, McGrath believes that an overhead light in the hospital car park was broken on purpose at the exact spot where Julie was attacked. They realize the attack must have been planned. But was Julie the intended victim? And could the attacker strike again?
Jack is on tenterhooks over today’s meeting with Internal Affairs. He is being investigated over his involvement in the death of Shane Deeks. Not wanting to worry Sam, Jack keeps the investigation from her, turning instead to Martha for support. When Sam discovers this, she is deeply troubled.
